Having grown up in Europe, mineral water was basically all we drank. Every week a delivery man would bring three or four crates full of glass bottles that would be collected and refilled in an endless cycle. I’m not really sure why, the tap water was perfectly clean and tasted good, but mineral water is the preferred water beverage there. Anyway, I still drink a ton of mineral water, but since I no longer live by a natural spring with a filling and delivery service, I do with the next best thing—one of which is this San Pellegrino bottled water. I don’t love the plastic bottles and go with glass whenever possible.

First, what is with all of the clueless reviews here? Oy! Anyway, I do wish it was available everyday for delivery. However, if you plan and don’t wait until the day before your delivery, you’ll be satisfied and able to fairly rate this product. I used to think this stuff was way more expensive than Diet Pepsi in the same size bottles. Ends up it isn’t. Interestingly, I find I drink it more slowly so it is surprisingly less expensive per day. Who knew?!?! As for the crazy expensive rates some mentioned, yes, some third parties sell through the Walmart system. If you look at the product you’ll see you’re being charged almost half of the price of the product for shipping. Why? Most major chains have bins at the front for you to drop off your empties for recycling. Too much trouble? Wow! OK. Order the glass bottles, then. They’ve got you covered here, either way.

If you like sparkling, plastic bottles won’t do!

I had 5 cases delivered to my doorstep. A. Because of the weight and B. Because I wanted some water stored for backup, in case we’ll have another freeze or food shortage. Expiration 07/22. I love carbonated water. That’s what I grew up with. That’s all my family drinks. Finally got around and opened the first bottle. It didn't make a sound. No bubbles. I opened another bottle…no sound….no bubbles. 5 cases or carbonated water without carbonation. I should have returned immediately when finding out these are not glass bottles. Delivery must have been shaking the heck out of those plastic bottles. Beyond the return window. What a waste of money.

Is Great For Making Flavored Sodas

My daughter recommended this brand and I can tell the difference. San Pellegrino has a fresh taste. I like to add fruit juices and sometimes Tang drink mix to it. Might be good with Kool Aid drink mix. Even plain it’s refreshing. Good to have on hand if feeling ill too. Great for travel. It’s the only “bubbly water” my grandson likes.

Sparkling water review

I buy this product on and off for years. Unfortunately for the past 13 if not more years I believe someone was switching out my beverages among other things . After moving to another state in 2021 I am recently having that problem again. I usually test the product as soon as I leave the store . Overall this is a good product as in 2010 I started to food and beverage aversions . So I am selective what I drink

Where is the sparkle

I recently bought 4 bottles of S Pellegrino from NTUC on line and was surprised that there was no fizz in them ie they were flat. I have had S Pellegrino before and have always enjoyed the sparkling mineral water. Hence I believe it is the storage conditions at NTUc that led to the loss of the sparkle etc.To make matters worse NTUC agreed to refund for the two bottles on which I based my complaint and chose to ignore the other two bottles which I was prepared to return. These other two bottles too have turned out to be flat.NTUC should do better for its customers and its suppliers such as S Pellegrino.

I purchase this San Pellegrino sparkling water on a regular basis now and it has never let me down. It has the perfect fizz, just the right amount and has a cool, crispness to it. So refreshing and thirst quenching also. I keep mine in the fridge for the ultimate coolness, especially on these warm days of late. It is so hydrating and it is really good even in its own or with perhaps some lemon . I find if I have any left in my 500ml bottle I close the cap tightly and I always find this retains it renowned fizz. Just the right size for taking to the gym or in my bag to work and also the busy commute to work. This bottle, I have found does not leak into my bag as long as the cap is tight and I always have a bottle of this at my bedside. perfect for wedding

On July 2nd we had an outdoor wedding in New Hope, PA. It was stifling hot, high humidity. There was a solid historic cooling pavillion and tents. I bought 400 bottles of San Pellegrino. We had less than 75 left.Stay hydrated was the goal. And a bottle was placed at each table setting with a disposable cup on top.The green bottle with the disposable items chosen blended well.
