The overall feel and appearance of the product is awesome. We live in the Vail Valley Colorado and use our products. We like to purchase high quality long lasting products. This helmet is weighted nicely and feels great on my head. I know this will last a handful of years while enjoy our mountains from Beaver Creek resorts to Vail. One benefit is the wide range of colors and the options you offer. We bought 2 and are very confident in this purchase. Would defiantly purchase again when my other 2 sons are ready to upgrade. Ear pieces are removable and love the goggle holder in the back. The designer of this helmet must have been an a rider. Thanks for the high quality helmet to protect the dome. It is a classic and will not fade out of style.

The look is awesome. Make sure you have goggles that fit the curved brim. I wear oakleys and glades. If you have a squared off style goggle; it will work but have something to warm your brim to goggle gap on the colder days. Great helmet and will continue to wear it.

Great looking helmet for snowboarding. Warm and comfortable. Haven't fallen or hit my head while wearing it so can't attest to its protective qualities.I was on the lower end of the large size. I didn't want a helmet that was too tight so went with the large. It's a little loose by itself but I layer up with a hooded airblaster ninja suit and it fits snug. Also swapped out the thin padding for the thicker padding that came with the helmet.
I'm still looking for a good brimmed helmet to replace an old Salomon model and this didn't cut it. I tried it on and top sit high, much higher then any other helmet I've tried. Kind of look like a horse riding helmet, if you are into that. My hat size is 7.25, so I order the Large and it was really snug.
This is my second Sandbox Helmet, and it's great per usual. It's the only helmet that doesn't make my head look large and weird. The first helmet is still fine, if not a little packed out and missing pads, but I had it 5(!!) years. The only reason I'm upgrading is because I've probably dropped it on the ground / hit my head more than the recommended amnt for a helmet's lifetime (I'm v sad, my sticker job was chefs kiss). Not only do I love the products, but the customer service team was really wonderful and patient to chat with when I ordered the wrong size and had to return it and buy the right size.
Been riding with the Bern Baker helmet (size med 55.5-57 cm) for quite some time. Switched to Sandbox, given identical sizing, and 56 mm head, I thought the medium would fit perfectly. Too small!!
Color pattern on helmet was more pixelated than what was represented by the photos online. Also, color pattern had less coverage than what was shown in stock photos. I know with color splash designs there is bound to be some variation in every application, but this helmet had design more akin to a striped pattern. Tried the helmet on and fitment was more like a small than the medium that was ordered.
This helmet is the base model for Sandbox Classic 2.0, so there isn't a clicker dial to tighten the inner liner, which is actually a plus for me. I find those clickers eventually wear out and break. The sizing pads provided should suit most people, the material is very high quality and warm. This helmet has no MIPS tech but is EU Alpine certified and made with an extremely durable injection mold plastic. For most people this product is gonna go above and beyond safety wise compared to a Walmart helmet.I was a little nervous when I initially purchased this due to lack of accurate reviews online regarding fit with goggles, but when I put my Smith Squads on it made a seamless fit with the helmets brim/vent holes.
