Hi all, I recently purchased this card and have been using it for about 2 - 3 months now with no issues. A really useful factor for this card is that it comes with a free 2 year subscription to SanDisks rescue pro deluxe recovery software which works very well. I have the Lumix S1R and works very well. I only use this card as a save card (My camera has a QXD slot because my camera has such a high megapixel count - 47) so I can’t be one to review its speed. (my camera saves the photos to QXD then moves it to this card once done) I don’t have any concerns of this card and will definitely be taking it up to the ski fields. I haven’t been able to find any downsides of this card. I would recommend this card to anyone as it’s great value.

Causes lockups for R6

I bought to of these when I first got my Cannon R6. They are really fast and that is the good. The bad however outweighs the good. These cards cause a Canon R6 to hang. When complaining to Canon that my camera was locking up when shooting sports, they said it was the memory cards I was using. I really did not buy that because I never had any issues with SanDisk cards before. However if I use the same setup on standard SD cards I never have an issue, and I have shoot a Season of Hockey and Soccer without any issue. I can not say this is a problem with the card or the camera because I do not have another camera that supports these cards. I also do not have any other brand of UHS-II cards to try at this time. Fake 256GB SD CARD

I never thought that it's possible to get fake SD Cards from here, but I just did. I guess I will have to now look elsewhere to purchased memory cards.This card is supposed to be rated for 200MB/s sustained reads, but I'm getting a paltry 50MB/s. That's 1/4 of the rated speed. Quite sad with my purchase. I have never had problems purchasing from here. I've made several purchases including more expensive equipment. But maybe the distributor that this place is getting from is being given fake cards. It's a sad day.

Gee This is FAST!

I've had other SanDisk Extreme PRO memory cards and they've all worked well. But they certainly weren't of the UHS-II variety! I purchased this because it was recommended for use with the new Canon R10 camera I had recently purchased. As I was loading my video into iMovie, I was caught by surprise at how fast this card is! It is truly a work enhancement for efficiency in video creation! Thankfully, B&H was selling it at nearly half the original price at the time of my purchase. For this I am very grateful! But this is an awesome product! Get one!

Good daily-use cards

SanDisk has never done me wrong. For XC I class cards, these are great. 200mb/s is more than enough performance for street photography and light video work. I'd go with the IIs for heaver video work or high-speed burst shooting, but these are more than ample for 99% of what I do. SanDisk have always been very reliable for me.I also use them for field-recording audio and capturing 20+ hours of data on a single card is wonderful, my batteries fail long before the card fills up.They work well in drum machines and sequencers too (Roland TR-8s, AKAI MCP). I never have too many cards around and SanDisk never fail for me.

Great performance with consistent 0-100% write speeds

PS, there is no benefit from using a USH II card in a UHS I slot.

I have been using san disk cards in my camcorders for the past 10 years and am hooked on them. I also have a Nikon D5200 camera that is a workhorse that I use for local band photoshoots. I was using a 32gb sd card that once I would pass 500 shots taken the camera recovery time between shots would get slower. I knew I needed more memory and when I saw this card on sale I immediately ordered one. Once it was delivered I installed it in my camera ready to use the next day I had a photoshoot to do. To my surprise and happiness, this card was a godsend to me. Snap the shutter and the camera was ready for another shot almost instantly! It worked this way even after taking over 600 shots with no indicator of slowing down! I am in love with this one. Sandisk Excellence as Usual

Sandisk cards have been so good for me, it is easy to get complacent about their excellence. This is the fastest card I have ever had and works great, as I had hoped. I am not disappointed. There are faster SDXC II cards, but not by much and I got this card for a competitive price, which made the decision easy.I got this for my new A7 IV. I like the larger camera sensor size on the Mark IV, but contrary to common sense, it took me some time to realize I needed faster cards than I need for my A7 III.The files are larger (about 1/3 larger) so there is more to write. I had just moved from V30 (video write speed) to V60 cards. When that happens, I will purchase those cards and say likely goodbye to SDXC II cards forthe A7 IV. Note, as of this writing, there are now 4 manufacturers making CFx-A, but not yet SanDisk.
