SanDisk Extreme UHS-I SD Memory Card (256GB)

Oh my gosh, you guys, I just got this awesome thing called the SanDisk Ultra 32GB Micro SDHC and it's the best! It's like a little card that can hold soooo much stuff! I can put all my pictures, videos, and games on it and still have room for more.And get this, it's super tough! I accidentally dropped it on the ground, but it didn't break or anything. It's like a superhero memory card or something!My favorite part is that it works with all my stuff. I can put it in my tablet, my mum's phone, and even my game console. It's like magic!If you're looking for a cool memory card that can hold a lot and is really strong, you should totally get the SanDisk Ultra 32GB Micro SDHC. It's the best thing ever!

Hi all, I recently purchased this card and have been using it for about 2 - 3 months now with no issues. A really useful factor for this card is that it comes with a free 2 year subscription to SanDisks rescue pro deluxe recovery software which works very well. I have the Lumix S1R and works very well. I only use this card as a save card (My camera has a QXD slot because my camera has such a high megapixel count - 47) so I can’t be one to review its speed. (my camera saves the photos to QXD then moves it to this card once done) I don’t have any concerns of this card and will definitely be taking it up to the ski fields. I haven’t been able to find any downsides of this card. I would recommend this card to anyone as it’s great value.

I recently went on a 2 week 2147 mile road trip. We started in Brooklyn to the Blue Ridge Mountains where we visited one of the caverns. From there we did 35 miles of the Skyline Drive. Then we headed to Atlanta to visit my older brother. All along that part of the trip I was shooting like crazy. In Atlanta we did the Museums, the Aquarium and Ante Belem homes. MORE PHOTOS.. Finally we ended up in D.C. on Memorial Day and went to see the Viet Nam Memorial and listen to the speeches by retired Generals and Members of the various services (I'm from a military family going back at least 5 generations that we can trace). SanDisk Extreme Pro is the one that works.

Good daily-use cards

SanDisk has never done me wrong. For XC I class cards, these are great. 200mb/s is more than enough performance for street photography and light video work. I'd go with the IIs for heaver video work or high-speed burst shooting, but these are more than ample for 99% of what I do. SanDisk have always been very reliable for me.I also use them for field-recording audio and capturing 20+ hours of data on a single card is wonderful, my batteries fail long before the card fills up.They work well in drum machines and sequencers too (Roland TR-8s, AKAI MCP). I never have too many cards around and SanDisk never fail for me.

High Speed Memories

I have been using san disk cards in my camcorders for the past 10 years and am hooked on them. I also have a Nikon D5200 camera that is a workhorse that I use for local band photoshoots. I was using a 32gb sd card that once I would pass 500 shots taken the camera recovery time between shots would get slower. I knew I needed more memory and when I saw this card on sale I immediately ordered one. Once it was delivered I installed it in my camera ready to use the next day I had a photoshoot to do. To my surprise and happiness, this card was a godsend to me. Snap the shutter and the camera was ready for another shot almost instantly! My Memory Cards now match

I'm also reviewing a 128GB Compact Flash Card.I just received my new Canon 5D body and it takes one or two memory cards. So I decided I needed to match them up. I now have both the 128FB Compact Flash and the 128GB SanDisk Extreme Pro Card. I send all photos to both the memory cards so if I have a problem I should always have a back-up that is fine. I had several 64GB SanDisk but only 32GB CF cards. Now they are matching and based upon past history each card should last me two full days of shooting. If not I'll just get two more 128GB cards, one of each kind all over again. I have a past history with both cards and they have always done the job.

From a dollar-per-GB perspective, it's obviously more cost effective. But when I recently got my 60MP Leica M11, I decided to try something different.Rather than get a huge SD card for the equally massive DNR files of the M11 (approx. 70-80MB each, so far), I decided to buy a 3-pack of these 32GB cards. If anything ever were to go wrong - even though I've never had a SanDisk card fail - with a few smaller cards, I'd only lose some of my photos, rather than all of them. Storage for Canon G50 and G70 Video Cameras

I recently purchased 6 of these cards to expand camera storage for 4K video, and they are perfect for my cameras. I have plenty of room the 45 minutes+ that I record every weekend. Canon breaks down video files recorded from camera to SD cards to 3GB file sizes, which when recorded in 4K can exceed 10 files. These files in my workflow can easily reach up to 26 files. I needed the extra space to hold those files, which are then moved to a compressed archive. I have no complaints, no loss of data, and reliable storage from these cards. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a large, and fast SD card for video capture.

I'm sure if you are using this SD card in a camera or in a Windows 10/11 installed computer, then you are going to just plug and play. However. if you are planning on installing this in a Linux machine, you should be aware that you may be in store for a bit of work to make Linux play with this storage device the way you want it to.In my case I installed this SD card in a laptop running Pop OS! Linux and it required formatting to ext4, partitioning and manually editing the /etc/fsck table to make it work the way I wanted.
