Hugely costly but cannot use because the device is not recognised by Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC's and no instructions to accompany the unit about how to overcome this. Unable to get help from SanDisk Pro website. Emailed the support email for Europe but my email was undeliverable. The box says Windows 10 is suitable "via reformat" but unable to format drive as it is not recognised by PC. Tried to use with iMac but got error message saying not enough power available. Trying very hard to get help, so far without success.

The PRO-BLADE works great with my Blackmagic camera. The speed and portability of this product is what sets it apart from the competition.

Only complaint is that the blades/drives that fit inside could fit more snugly. They have never fallen out, but it worries me a bit.These are fast and the fact that I can carry multiple blades/drives and slot them in is fantastic.

After more then 11 years, we were able to replace out QNAP NAS box for a more cost efficient and fast storage solution.This 4TB Mag gave us the storage we need and the expansion we are looking for for future use.
Transfer speed is amazing. Brought two so I can move my video and photo project easily between computers.
Was supposed to receive a free carry case with it. There was no were to add to purchase and when I called and complained no one ever got back to me other than that everything is good so far
Love my PRO-BLADE TRANSPORT System. Looking forward to backing up my entire Movie and Music files. Praying this will be a long lasting and dependable system.
Purchased one of these looking for something to replace the SanDisk Extreme Pro V2's we've been using. With BMD Disk Speed Test, the 4TB Extreme Pro V2's get about 1,500 MB/s Read and Write, while these Pro-Blade Transport drives (also 4TB), get about 950 MB/s Write and 875 MB/s Read. Definitely a speed problem as they are being advertised at 2,000 MB/s (which matches the Extreme Pro V2 advertised speeds.What's going on? Why are we getting less than half the advertised speeds? Running on brand-new Apple Mac Studio's. Tested multiple cables, formatting, etc. The older Extreme Pro V2's are much faster!
Great innovation with the exchangeable SSD's. However according to the Blackmagic Disk Speed Test the performance is not even half the speed of 2000 MB/S
It is inexcusable today to not use Thunderbolt. It is also baked into the USB4 spec. Any SSD drive will be crippled because of this decision. Why the proprietary connector between the doc and sled? Is there a problem with using the USBc connector?This drive is a solution looking for a problem.
