It's my second time buying 64GB flash drive from this shop but different product. I have read there are a lot of reviews say it's a legitimate product. I haven't used it yet but I'll follow up this review once I use it. I have purchased another 64GB flash drive from and I think it'll arrive tomorrow. I'll be using these two flash drives to get my files from my 10 years old laptop so that I'll have to save my files once my laptop is not working anymore. It's definitely five stars!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Easy to use and worked well!

Worked for what I needed to do. Had purchased a new computer at the same time and needed to save pictures and a few other files. I got a larger amount to be on the safe side and this had more than enough space for what I needed to save and transfer. Know will continue to use to save things as needed. As another review mentioned, it only noted 58.85GB and not the 65GB as noted. Very easy to use! Was also on sale when I purchased!

Huge Upgrade from 2.0.

A huge upgrade from using 2.0. Way faster. Really love the retractable port. I bought this primarily for storing my completed music tracks. I wish this device was offered in different color types.

Not Compatible

I've tried to use this in my car stereo but my car stereo couldn't read my music files. I've tried reformatting in many ways without success. I've tried NFTS, FAT32, and exFat. I have other flash drives from other manufacturers that work but this one would not. I called tech support and they couldn't help. One technician said that their flash drives were only meant for computers and not cars. Yet, I've been able to use their other flash drives in my car. Go figure.

One caviat

Benchmarking this drive right out of the package may be misleading.I'd never bothered with benchmarking until about an year ago when I had some problems with a solid state drive. Since then I have played around with benchmarking various devices.When I bench marked this flash drive the results were terrible, barely better than my average 2.0 drives. At first I thought it might be defective but then I thought to check the 32GB version of this drive which I always thought was quite speedy. I'd purchased it over a year ago. So I benchmarked now and its average speeds were not real great but the interesting thing was that the first third of the drive was reading well over 120MB/sec, well above the advertised rate. Then I wondered if you only get full speeds to data that's been written. That is, those parts of the drive that have been used, written to or written to and erased.To test this I filled the rest of the 32GB drive and then erased that added data. The average read speed for the entire drive was now 127.4MB/sec. I filled and erased the 64GB drive and it now reads 116.7. Not quite as good as the 32GB drive but I'm happy.I checked some of the poor reviews of this drive and see mentions of poor benchmarks. Maybe this was their problem too.I've had no problems with the 32GB drive and expect none with this one.Good drive. Got it on sale, so great price.

Perfect flash drive for the job

The sole purpose for the purchase of the SanDisk-Ultra 64G flash drive was to recover the contents of my old laptop hard drive. My old laptop wouldn't start up and it took more than 3 years for me to decide to see if the Geek Squad could help me. Turns out it worked perfectly. I have my photos and was about to import them to my new laptop. It's a joy to see my photos. Now I have them in two places, my laptop and the flash drive.

Red, small, bit flimsy but fine.

It never hurts to have spare usb drives and this one does just fine. I prefer to get a usb 3.0, usb 2.0 is way to slow for the couple dollars in savings. Read and write speeds are all within normal parameters. My only gripe and why I dinged a star is the plastic is quite flimsy. The push out mechanism feels like it will break eventually. It hasn't or at least not yet but it is a consideration if you use the usb drive a lot. Otherwise for the price it's a recommend.

SanDisk USB 3 64 Gigabyte Drive is Awesome

The SanDisk USB 3 64 Gigabyte Drive is awesome! I use the SanDisk Flash Drives to copy and move data between computers. I also use them for storing data. I have been using SanDisk Flash Drives for years. I have never had a problem with SanDisk Flash Drives and strongly recommend them! :D

“It’s Just A Thumbdrive”

Not much to elaborate upon, regarding this product in general. The red color is a welcomed in a plethora of pedestrian black colored thumb drives as it stands out! Especially when searching for one particular portable device. I’ve owned multiple thumb drives over the past 20 years, from various companies. Thus far none have failed. Though one’s experiences may vary. This particular item was on sale at a reasonable price, as it was a nobrainer to purchase it.
