This is basically a double-ended storage that has USB on one side and a Lightning connector on the other. In this way, it can connect to a Mac/PC or an iPhone. Though presumably not at the same time. It has a user-friendly app for iPhone that works great. The form factor is very petite and is made to go on a key ring if desired. One thing to note: the USB connector is the classic kind. It would need an adapter to work on the newest Macs.

I got this SanDisk iXpand™ Flash Drive Go 64GB and I love it! It works great with my iPhone 11. Setting it up is very easy, I just plugged it into my iPhone and got a prompt to download the accompanying app via the Apple App Store. The app is very easy to navigate and it was simple to copy or transfer photos and files back and forth from the flash drive to and from my phone. I love that this is a very small size. This flash drive is easy to use and has allowed me to be able to save files and photos so that I can have more free space on my phone. The software that you need to download it easy to find and download from the app store. It is as simple as plugging the flash drive into your phone and using the software to move the data over to the drive. The drive itself seems to be made well. My only concern is the flip slide top it has that covers the connector. I feel like it it is being stored on keys or a lanyard that is moved around alot, it may break off easily but overall it is a good device.

These expandable storage devices are great for pictures. My iPhone never seems to have enough storage and it's nice to download photos to these flash drives for easy saving. I know this device will last and as long as I can find it my pictures will be safe on it.

Repeatedly copied only 5 of 93 photos, then said to “try again later.” Repeatedly repeated. NG. Then tried all options. “Try again later.” Belatedly, I checked customer reviews and found it’s HORRIBLE RATINGS!! What happened to W.D. and sandisk?
I read all the reviews on this product and was excited to purchase this. However, this product is not worth it. There are many issues, Firstly, It crashes all the time. I have 6000 photos and it wouldn't even get through 500 before closing down. You are unable to use any other apps while is transferring data and worst of all it takes hours to copy photos saved on icloud.

USELESS! The SanDisk iXpand 256 GB does NOT retain photos ALBUMS! It backs up IN BULK with no option to manually select albums to back up. I CONFIRMED this with SanDisk Chat SUPPORT. SO, I have 14,568 photos and if, due to a damaged iPhone, I had to restore them I would have to MANUALLY create albums and MANUALLY sort and copy them to the appropriate albums. There is NO MENTION of this in the online manual which I read start to finish.
Positive reviews are all quite old so I’m guessing that there’s a compatibility issue with current iPhones.Kept taking me to the iPhone settings so I could change them to give access but nothing worked.Tried logging a support ticket with sandisk but after providing them with the info they asked for, haven’t heard anything back.I’m guessing it’s no longer a supported device.
