I got this flash drive because I own a youtube channel and film all my videos on my samsung a11 phone (That has USB-C) and use this USB to transfer video files between my phone and PC.The USB is very fast, I got around 150mbps which was more than enough for my needs. It could transfer 15 minute HD video in like 1 minute and can be used on all my devices.I found out that when copying large files for longer than just 1 minute makes the usb very hot, heat is bad for flash memory so, whenever I copy a large file to or from the usb, I put a tiny fan near the usb to keep it cool. The overheating is only when using a USB 3.0 port.

This works well on both USB and USB-C ports. Nice to have an alternative since some of our laptops have either limited ports or now only have USB-C. I usually add a USB Hub to extend the number of ports but not with this since if the usb port is used I can flip it and use the extra USB-C port. This makes moving files between non networked devices much more convenient. Also the speed is good. Not as fast as external SSD but for smaller transfer files and some productivity files this works very well. I also have the steel version but I prefer this one, it may not be as durable material wise but it is lighter and it does not get hot like the steel version. I have been using Sandisk USBs for work and personal for 9 years now and they are always solid flash drives.

My unit is black in color and has a lightweight design. Despite its poor build quality, the SanDisk Pendrive has a plastic form factor that is similar to that of the company's other Pendrives. It's a mobile 2-in-1 Pendrive with reversible USB Type-C and traditional Type-A connectors, allowing users to connect the device to both their smartphone and their computer. The Pendrive has a very compact design that makes it easier for users to carry, but you must be careful not to lose it due to its small size. There is a loop design on the bottom of the Pendrive that allows you to tie a neck strap around it to keep it from getting lost.Should you spend your money on this hard drive? My thoughts on the "SanDisk Ultra Dual Go Type C Pendrive" are as follows. The "SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go Type C Pendrive" works with nearly all major operating systems, including Linux, Windows, macOS, and Android. The 2-in-1 Pendrive works with both a smartphone and a computer, and I've had no problems transferring files. I've also used USB Type-C and Type-A connectors to play HD video directly on my smartphone and tablet. Even when watching HD videos, I haven't noticed any lag. Performace SanDisk claims that the Ultra Dual Drive Go Type C Pendrive can deliver read speeds of up to 150 Mbps over USB 3.1, which is a very fast data transfer rate. However, we put the Pendrive to the test in a real-world scenario to provide you with accurate figures. We ran CrystalDiskMark 6.0 on the flash drive and received a maximum read speed of 129.5 Mbps on the USB 3.0 port. This indicates that the flash drive is capable of transferring large files without difficulty. Test of File Transfer We also attempted to transfer 46.1GB of data from a PC to the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go Type C. In a real-world scenario, we observed a maximum speed of 33.8 Mbps and a minimum speed of 17.9 Mbps. It took around 34 minutes to transfer 46.1GB of data. Keep in mind that the flash-transfer drive's speed is also influenced by the PC's configuration. SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go Type C Pendrive Thoughts The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go Type-C flash drive costs Rs. 1,099 and has 64GB of storage. At this price point, the company is providing a good deal with acceptable performance. If you're looking for a high-speed flash drive in this price range, this is a better option because it has dual ports. We've had this device for over a week and haven't experienced any lag or issues, particularly when transferring large files. It is a good pendrive. I say buy it.

This little guy is convenient! I recently purchased a two of these. My brother and I both upgraded our personal laptops, however with only USB-C ports available, we were looking for something that would allow us the flexibility to use these flash drives not only on our computers, but also elsewhere if needed. Needless to say, these little guys were on sale and fit the bill perfectly. With both of us being college students, and most campus computers still only having USB-A ports, I knew we would both need to either by Type-C flash drives and adapters, or Type-A drives, that would sacrifice speeds on our computers. Luckily we stumbled across these and they were immediately in the cart, and in our bags at checkout. The option to use either port makes this drive a win-win in a world that is still in the transition from Type-A to Type-C. Also these things are so small that we literally just keep them on our lanyards/keychains so we never forget them! Theyre great!
The package advertises 128GB and further defines 1GB=1000000000B. The unpartitioned empty block device must have a minimum capacity of 128000000000 bytes, and no less. Overhead from partition alignment and filesystem structures is expected for a formatted device, however the raw unformatted space must be as advertised! The actual unpartitionled raw space is 123048296448 Bytes which is 3.8% less than the minimum advertised capacity. There is no interpretation of GigaByte or GibiByte that can result in this discrepancy.
I've never had a SanDisk product but, since I have been a fan of Western Digital for such a long time, I thought I give SanDisk a chance. While it performs as expected, the quality of the material and design is mediocre at best. The USB-A end of the flash memory is extremely brittle and, in under three months of light use, it began to crack and pieces started to chip off. This thing needs to either be made of much tougher plastic or completely made of metal. I took two stars off because quality is more important than performance to me. I'm giving the flash drive away to someone else who doesn't mind cosmetic imperfections and going back to Transcend or Kingston. Goodbye, SanDisk!
Recently I needed to quickly transfer some pictures and videos from my tablet to my laptop and I picked up this Sandisk Dual Go Drive while shopping at Office Depot. Best decision I made in a while! First of all, this travel drive is compatible with both USB-A and USB-C ports, it has a storage of 64 GB of memory, and it comes with an Android app called 'Memory Zone' which makes the transfer process a real breeze! The only thing is - and I don't consider it necessarily a flaw - I prefer using it with a small adapter (not included) for easier handling as it is so tiny (please see picture) ...So I am very pleased with it and would highly recommend this product to anyone!
This drive is perfect for quickly moving files from an old MacBook (which has only USB ports) to the newer Mac that only has C ports. I have one made by another company that blinks out during use, but this one has been reliable, has twice the GB, and is faster. ata 150 MB/s. My only concern is the lightweight plastic rather than metal case, although that has not been a problem so far. The tiny size also makes this drive simple to tote, even on a keychain. Nice product. I'm glad I have it.
This review is intended as a direct companion to my "mixed-to-poor verdict" on item SDDDC232GB, because I bought both units at the same time specifically in order to compare them in ways that were not listed on the spec sheets.First up, I have to echo what I said there: You are probably looking at this model because you have short-listed units that have both USB A and C without the need for a separate adaptor. Pricing is also very close, and they both claim to have the same speed. How to choose?Firstly, the negative: in my testing the WRITE speed is actually about 50% less on this at 40MB/s rather than 60. Read speed was confirmed identical at 140MB/s.However, the positives in my opinion far outweigh the negative because the physical usability is far superior. ... Read speed was confirmed identical at 140MB/s.However, the positives in my opinion far outweigh the negative because the physical usability is far superior. The sliding mechanism is THE major weakness of the sibling model. Poor design and weak materials combine to make it an almost guaranteed frustrating experience. This unit is slimmer overall and the pivot design obviously sidesteps all issues nicely. Even if the pivot hinge totally failed and detached completely, you would still have a usable drive and I am not so sure the same could be said for the slider. You will surely have noticed that read and write speeds are currently far better if you get a premium USBA-only unit, so if you are interested in ultimate speed you will not be looking at a dual-interface unit anyway. So, never mind the speed "loss": this is the one to get.
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 64GB USB Type-A/USB Type-C Flash Drive is a versatile and convenient storage solution for users who need to transfer files between devices with different USB ports. With a sleek black design and a capacity of 64GB, this drive allows you to easily move photos, videos, music, and other files between your computer, smartphone, tablet, or other compatible devices. Its dual USB Type-A and Type-C connectors make it easy to use with a wide range of devices, and the included SanDisk Memory Zone app provides additional functionality and control over your files. Overall, this is a great option for anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use flash drive.
