Bought one of these years ago & got one for my Mum as well. Read the reviews today about being able to pull it open, tried it on mine - and yes.I don’t have strong hands but I didn’t have any trouble getting it open. I was horrified! I was about to move Mum’s to a spot near the door, for emergency services access - would’ve been an open invitation to thieves instead. Will be looking for a better model ASAP!

Awesome tool for keeping your spare key safe rather than having multiple keys. Especially great when you lock yourself out of home or need to have a key conveniently located for multiple users.
I put this up last night and discovered a fatal flaw. Once mounted, the outer bit can be literally pulled open by hand with very minimal effort.Because of the design, it's very easy to grip or get your fingers underneath.Would not recommend for security at all.
On the face of it, this is a nice product. It is quitebig, strong, sturdy body, suitable for light to medium security. Unfortunately, the lock is absolutely puny . Once it is screwed onto a wall, it can be opened with minimal force from the locked position. It is not even suitable to keep the "honest"people out. Avoid.
Poor design quality. The door will open with minimal force applied as the latch is too fragile.
My experience is the same as the reviewer below. Once mounted I gave it a test to make sure it was secure. It popped right open. The lever that 'locks' the door in place flexes when pulled and detaches. I suppose you get what you pay for...
I bought one recently in case my wife or myself get locked out or have family members arrive before we get home, but read the reviews after purchasing and installing it and it turns out with minimum effort, you can force the lock open.I tried it and yes, I had access to the house key without using the code.Would I have been a thief, I would have had a field day.
I've had it for years done the job saved me when I needed it. It did its job, not perfect
