Not remembering my favourite scent in the Santa Maria collection lead me in purchasing the kit. It arrived along with little bonus extras which is always a wonderful surprise and opportunity to try something different . My discovery kit arrived stunning fast to me. Thanks a lot. Nice perfume set to try. I discovered a beautiful fragance for my boyfriend. Unique and soft. For me I have to try a little more the huge range of SMN perfumes. But Freesia and Rosa Gardenia are unique beautiful perfumes which are intoxicating and natural fragances. I hope I can visit your Farmacia in Florence one day.

The concept is really great, but unfortunately the smells have little to no staying power and mostly smell like candy to me. It might be great as a gift for a younger woman (high school age), but the smells aren't classy or mature. They also have the 'perfume' smell, rather than smelling like the real flower or real item. I have also noticed that when they settle down, either you can't smell them or they all smell like vanilla. Again though, good concept for testing them but I find I only use them for the gym, just to use them up.

I'm a diehard Melograno wearer but it was awesome to try out the other scents. I've decided my husband must absolutely have the Tobacco Toscano in all its forms and was transported back to my childhood with Angeli di Firenze, with the juicy melon and peach notes.I just wish we could buy the other fragrances not included in the kit in sample sizes, too. I would like to try ALL OF THEM.
I have just had covid and feeling VERY low. Today I have received my Discovery kit of Santa Maria Novella. This was so beautifully packaged and your hand written note with the spritz of perfume was just a beautiful touch. Not to mention your very generous other samples. My boyfriend had bought these back in around May for me because I had seen on Youtube about the oldest perfume that is still around today, it was Acqua Della Regina! I love how it smells! Its elegant and just beautiful. I also really love Rosa Gardenia. It is my favourite in the set! I wasnt obsessed with Tabacco Toscani or Pot Pourri, only because they smell a bit more masculine to me and they smell way sexier on my boyfriend. But every other scent I have fully used. The Fresia is stunning, as well as the Rosa Novella, Angeli De Firenze, and Melograno. I give this set a 10/10. There isnt one smell that I hate or even dislike. Thank you so much for this!
I purchased this kit 2 months ago along with a bag of pot pourri and Carta d'Armenia. I have enjoyed every single one of the scents. I also know which is my top favorite. I will purchase it shortly. I will also go for the body lotion. I was introduced to this line many years ago through the wonderful pot pourri. That to me is still,to this day, a phenomenal scent.
Perfect size for trialling new scents, for better value. The scents are beautiful, some more than others. My favourites were Melograno, Fresia, Tobacco Toscano and Rosa Novella- all sublime in their own ways. The set itself is packaged beautifully, and then the parcel from Libertine- complete with many samples- was exquisitely packaged and scented. It felt very special to receive.
I bought this mini-selection to try since I am new to smnovella. The fragrances are truly wonderful. My favourite is the Rose. The Pot Pourri cleared my headache so I have ordered some room fragrance too.
purchased this mostly to try tabacco toscano and melagrano. glad i did because while i really liked tabacco toscano, melagrano smelled too much like old potpourri. rosa novella was a nice surprise as i don't usually like heavily floral let alone rose smells but it wasn't too heavy or syrupy. however the other perfumes became a little repetitive. a lot of clean smelling white florals with few unique qualities. for variety it'd be a 3/5 but for the decent size of samples, it's a 4. the sprayer isn't the best on the samples but it does help you from over-spraying and running out too quickly.
