This was meant to be a Christmas gift I sadly never got to give, so recently I opened it and placed it on a shelf in my room. The smell is so wonderful and sweet. Growing up my aunt had these in her house and I always thought the scent was from her orchids. I don't have a green thumb at all, so I was delighted to find out that the nostalgic scent of my childhood summers was actually this little ceramic pomegranate! Finding this felt serendipitous, my aunt and I were close but this was one secret she kept from me. Considering buying the eau de for every day use.
I bought this years ago on a recommendation from a friend and I can still smell it's amazing fragrance in my closet every day. I can't recommend this highly enough. If you want to feel lux while you get dressed, get this and place it somewhere in your boudoir. The pomegranate itself is beautiful terracotta and looks like a sculpture.

Well I was looking for fragrance for my apartment and I bought this pomegranate in scented terracotta on a whim and with no idea what the fragrance would be like.I can report that I was very pleasantly surprised. Love everything I get from this company. I randomly stumbled upon the pomegranate in a little boutique in the San Francisco airport 12 years ago, and I’ve loved Santa Maria Novella ever since. The quality is superb, the scent unique, intoxicating, and long lasting. And a beautiful handcrafted terra cotta pomegranate diffuses the scent - it doesn’t get more aesthetically beautiful than that. It’s hard not to balk at the price point initially, but it is so worth the investment.
I was given this diffuser as a Hostess gift and although the concept is charming, the fragrance is so powdery and overwhelming, we had to throw it out in a plastic bag. It smells like a overly scented trash bag bin liner. Horrible. Gave all if us a headache. How anyone could have it in their home is baffling.
OMG this is just the most sensual , refreshing and lasting scent and beautiful presentation I’ve experienced. My dear mum who’s in her 80’s was given one of these . Each time I visited her I would sit on her couch near the window and would be amazed at this scent that was so gently wafting around me . Not overwhelming just so pleasant and relaxing . I tried a lot of trendy gift shops asked if they could get one , even took photos to show them of the lovely gift box . Being so eager to purchase one I googled it and found Myer stocked them . I visited Myer 30 mins from where I lived they didn’t have them in stock so they ordered for me and it was delivered to my home address . I contemplated gifting it for Chrissy but decided to treat myself . I just LUV IT .
