Great mid tier gpu, it runs all of my favorite games on ultra settings at 1440p, its quiet and runs cool. Its got tasteful RGB if you are into that.It cost $50 than the reference model, but its got more fans and great build quality.I bought this model because there were only two different brands/models in stock when I purchased, both had a simular price, the nitro+ had a higher stock overclock, I am happy with the sapphire brand, but their TRIXX software is pretty terrible, AMD’s adrenaline software is fine and handles most of everything you need.The staff were very helpful in looking up the stats of the cards they had in stock.I have been very happy with my purchase and have been very happy with the selection and service at micro center.

A lot of the reviews online knock the 7800 XT for not being a more substantial improvement over the 6800 XT. The truth is I don’t care, it’s a really good card and I didn’t have to pay a king’s ransom to get it (looking at you Nvidia).With just a pinch of upscaling I can play Starfield in 4K at 60 FPS (locked by my display’s refresh rate) on high or ultra settings. I honestly can’t see a difference between that and native.The card is dead silent and super cool even in my tiny mini ITX case. I would definitely buy it again.

I bought this on launch day to replace a 6800xt I had purchased within the month before (thanks Microcenter returns!). This card is super silent, beautiful, and performs better at way lower temps. With newer architecture and plans for the future this is, in my opinion, the right card to end the AM4/1440p era.
