Yes, I get superior performance to the 6900 XT this card has replaced, noticably, even the Ray Tracing is reasonable enough to play CP2077.But, most of the time I'm playing the same games I've been playing for a while, just drawing less power and making less heat - a win as far as I'm concerned!The Sapphire 7900 XTX is a little longer and a little thicker than the 6900XT - and quite a chunky card. It is quiet, even when being worked hard (yes, CP2077 & Star Citizen!) which is nice.

So realistically whatever new GPU I bought, it was gonna be a massive generational leap.As an engineer myself, I hugely appreciate the quality of engineering that's gone into this graphics card. RDR2 runs perfectly vsynced at 60fps 4K ultra as does Baldurs Gate 3 and having played Elden Ring through on 1080p previously I think I'm gonna have to do another playthrough at some point with it in 4K because damn that game is pretty!

I have yet to see the card exceed 75°C in gaming. I do mostly VR and despite the cronic issues with AMD's current drivers and VR I have managed to get it running at very playable framerates on most games with all the settings cranked up and the resolution being well the 2160*2160 per eye on my meta quest pro at 80mhz. Bought this as an upgrade from an rx 6600 xt. the 7900 xtx runs any game I have tried at max settings with 60+ fps. The card is really chunky and long so make sure to have a case with proper airflow (I don't). Even without good airflow it runs at around 25c at idle and the hotspot temps never get above 65c at max load. On the whole it is superb, it looks great and performs well so would recommend.
Pros: Monstrously fast rasterization performance. Better value than a 4080, more vram = greater longevity. Excellent RT performance. Can't complain about the performance. Thermals the sapphire cooler keeps it below 60c in my case which has pretty good airflow even under sustained video encoding loads. Noise? Not that i've noticed any increase, as the case fans I have are certainly louder under load. Most of the time they're not spinning anyway.Cons: Big, heavy, rgb lighting software is very basic, you'll want to connect it to a 3rd party rgb controller if you want something other than 1 colour or rainbows.
I’ve upgraded from an Asus ROG Strix RX 5700 XT, which was quite poorly built (great GPU from AMD though), so I’ve decided to pick Sapphire this time.I had many Sapphire graphics cards in the past, and price/value always been good, but man this card is just on another level build quality and cooling performance wise. Sure, you need to have a case which can accommodate it, because this card is enormous, but in exchange it is super silent and cool. Leaving plenty of place for OC. However at the moment it can deal with any game out of the box even at 4K with high refresh rate, as expected for this price.I would recommend Sapphire Nitro+. It is well built, quiet and in my opinion one of the best looking cards on the market right now.
I recommend checking out Techpowerup's review of this card. It is the best looking and performing XTX card out there. The two RGB bars on the top and bottom of the card look very nice and not overdone. The whole card looks and feels quality and there is not any plastic in sight. The thermals are excellent, and the cooler is so quiet that even 40% fan speed is silent and is enough to run the card at the maximum power limit (+15%) whilst keeping the Junction temperature well below the maximum limits. Sapphire Trixx software (which allows full RGB control) is lightweight and functional, unlike some other bad RGB software we will not name. My only small quibble is the price, it needs to come down by £125 or so to meet the Sapphire suggested RRP.
I upgraded from a RTX3080 because I felt it was struggling at 4k and I can't believe how smooooth everything feels now, even a game like Escape From Tarkov with all the eye candy turned on and in native 4k 120hz runs butter smooth and far better than what the 3080 had to offer even with turned down setting and DLSS.Sapphire is my favorite company for Radeons and this card truly highlights why. Everything looks, feels and works perfect - beautiful, cool, quiet and my 850W PSU handles it no sweat. Great job Sapphire, I love this card!
