Good card, takes about 20 seconds to display on boot, but performs very well. Drivers are excellent (compared to intell) ok for $500, could probably be a bit cheaper. Good oc support and very quiet.

I've been building PCs since the early 00's. Of the several dozens of variations of GPUs I've owned/built for friends and family over the years on both Team Red and Team Green... This is hands down the best engineered card I've ever had the pleasure to get my hands on. I cannot state enough how well this card is built. This is NOT your typical bulky, gaudy, rainbow UFO of a card with seemingly random shaved edges and bulges (I'm looking at you Red Devil). This is a slick, industrial-looking, tank. Perfect 90 degree angles on every corner. Large enough for amazing airflow and thermals, yet still reasonably sized to accommodate most builds. I'm 99% certain this would survive a drop down a flight of stairs... I'm just not crazy enough to try it in this GPU shortage, ... MoreI've been building PCs since the early 00's. As for the rx 6800, a huge step up from my old rx 5700 XT. Much more feature rich (especially if you have a Ryzen 5000 series CPU). The driver install actually made it through the entire install without blue-screening like both of my 5700 XTs do! You finally did it AMD, stable and competitive GPU, good job. 16GB VRAM! Sapphire again deliveres some of the best thermals. If you happen to be lucky enough to catch this card in-stock, do not hesitate to pull the trigger on it.

I upgraded from a Sapphire 5700XT nitro plus and this 6800 is amazing. It pulls the same wattage under full load as the 5700XT (180 watts roughly) while over clocked. The 5700XT was under-volted by 100mv to achieve the same wattage. It's less noisy too again with an over clock Vs under-volt, basically silent. The Fans max out at around 1500rpm so no louder than a standard case fan. Performance is spot on for a 1440p 144htz monitor, just max out the settings and you'll get about 60fps in 99.9% of games, some slightly older games will be in the 100s of FPS. Very impressive!
It's a perfect card for 1440p gaming. Performance wise RX 6800 stands between RTX 3070 and RTX 3080. Was happy to grab it on a huge discount as a replacement for my noisy single-fan GTX 1060. Runs smoothly and quietly even on my old i7-7700K. Getting between 100 - 200 FPS on max settings in almost all games. Shipment to Lithuania took 3 days.
Paid the price for buying one Dec 28, 2020 but worth it Great card that runs cool and quiet and runs most games at 4K and a few at 1440P with graphics maxed out. Love the Sapphire TriXX software. AMD 1st Ray Tracing not as good as Gen Nvidia but turn off ray tracing and this card destroys any card under an RTX 3080 with ray tracing turned off. Sapphire Pulse not for BLING/led lovers but fine for me.
In instances I stress out the memory, it runs 20 degrees hotter than the GPU junction when clocked 5% over stock. The fans also get impressively loud, where they can peak up at 3600RPM. To be fair to the card, it only ever got to 60% of that speed in an adequately vented case. In my case, I have a TD500 Mesh with the fans set to 70% (only 1100RPM) and that's where the card peaked at 2600RPM. When it's running at this speed, the temperature sits in the mid 60s, given about a 25c ambient temperature. As for the difference between the core junction and edge, I find that the average difference is about 5 degrees Celsius, up to 10 degrees Celsius higher temps compared to the edge of the silicone. Lastly, I will say undervolting on this card is quite impressive. In my case, I can push power from 1025 millivolts, to as little as 910 while keeping in spec. And as for the memory, I found the voltage you deliver to the card determines how far you can push the memory. I run mine 6% higher than stock when undervolting, stable, but I can have it more like 9 percent over stock if I push voltage as far as it can go. Unfortunately, you can't control the power you push to the memory independently of the core, so you have to push one to also push the other.Overall it works, runs in spec and quiet when undervolted, but at stock it's on the louder side, so consider all this when looking to buy this card. Unfortunately, I bought this at an eye watering £900, so personally I will try making some money back mining Eth. In case you're curious, it currently runs at 62-64 mega-hashes if you wish to recoup some costs of mining when you go to sleep; it's what I'm doing.
Loving the card so far. It's part of an upgrade that I started way back in August but waiting for the new crop of GPUs for (and waited, and waited... :( ). Finally went ahead and splurged and so far so good.... Except that when I load up the main game I play, Elite Dangerous, I got coil whine from the GPU. Setting vsync to on fixed it, but I didn't have this problem with my previous card (1660 super).
Excellent packaging, easily installed, very quiet, running with a 600w PSU and 3600 AMD CPU, makes easy work of MW2 and Elden Ring. Side note - had excellent customer service from Scan, would definitely recommend.
I am coming from a rx 5700 xt pulse, the difference between the two cards is night and day. The rx 6800 pulse wins with lower temps, lower noise, and better rendering of image. be careful thou with the thickness of card mine just about fitted in my moded Silverstone ml08 case. the standard silverstone ML08 this card the xr 6800 pluse wont fit.
