Went from a Vega56 to this monster (was going to get the rx6700xt, but caved in)Cyberpunk, RDR2, GTAV, all on max settings in 1440p and getting 90-100fps.The card is lovely and quiet, even under load.I'm more than happy with this, even though I had to 'alter' my case a little, as it's 31cm long (not the 28cm card I squeezed out).

This card is a beaut, a bit on the long side, so make sure your case has room. This card absolutely crushes on performance. High frames (240+) on max settings at 1440p playing Doom Eternal. Ray-tracing will, however, tank the performance almost cutting the frame rate in half. You can't really notice the difference in gameplay so it's primarily for very pretty screenshots. The price is a bit disheartening even during the card shortages as of late. Almost double the price of MSRP at 1319.99. Even though the price is a bit absurd for my liking, the card itself is a monster. So all in all, the card is great, but maybe wait until the prices normalize.

The card came with 3 free games which was a nice bonus, worth checking if the promotion is still running prior to buying. The downside to this card would be its lack of a worthy DLSS equivalent: FSR. FSR is still in its infancy and will take several years to blossom into the fantastic technology that is DLSS. I am here for that ride and I am excited to receive AMD Radeon drivers for years to come.TL;DR - great card, equivalent to RTX 3080, wish it had better DLSS equivalent and Ray Tracing.P.S.: I did have one BSOD on Windows 10, though I'm sure this is due to remnants of the previous nvidia driver conflicting. Excellent performance in most games. Card is very big so will not fit easily in every case. Works with PCIe3 slots but better performance with PCIe4
Despite feeling underwhelmed, I gave this a 4 egg review because I really do think most of it is due to inexperience at my part. I recently upgraded to this from a Geforce 960, and while I absolutely have noticed performance increases on my favorite games by up to 60-100FPS, when I go out of my way to try more AAA or modern titles (like Elden Ring, for example) I find it usually getting between 45-55FPS. That's hardly bad, but I think I set my expectations too high. I'm really sorry if this whole review sounds like some "first world problems" me trying to lord over everyone or something, but I was in the older GPU boat too and really did expect this to be game-changing. This Sapphire PULSE 6800XT GPU is pretty stellar. The graphics performance is outstanding on majority of games (that don't have problems like BF2042). The cooling on it is also pretty amazing. I haven't reached any high temps and my case is entirely air cooled.The only con that I found about this product is that while not particularly heavy, there is a little bit of sag. There is also a high pitched noise that comes from the GPU when running on high graphical loads, but I learned later that this is just the capacitors and it can happen to any GPUs, good thing I wear headphones.Overall rating: 4.5/5

Overall, it is very powerful (beats my friend's overclocked 3080 while only consuming a maximum of 240w). Will run amazingly if you undervolt it, otherwise it is loud and too hot. AMD drivers are janky, but not enough to drive me away from this product
