Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely You 100ml

Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. It's a floral, woody musk fragrance for women. The top notes are lavender, bergamot, martini, mandarin orange and palisander rosewood; middle notes are patchouli, orchid and narcissus; base notes are musk, woodsy, cedar and white amber. Basically, everything I don't like😠. It's a hard no for me. It smells like roses so it's nice for an older woman. I only recommend it if you like floral notes.

I started with a sample, and I liked it enough that when I ran out I bought a 1.7oz bottle. I'm not sure if I will buy another when I run out though. This fragrance comes across very leathery to me. The cedar is strong, the patchouli is there but blends well. The orange blossom and lavender work well together to add a nice touch, but the base notes are almost a bit too loud to let these notes shine as much as I would like. The bottle is gorgeous, all glass (if yours has a plastic top, it's probably counterfeit), and like on other Gucci perfumes, the atomizer works well providing a nice, even spray.

Kenneth Cole Vintage Black Eau De Toilette Spray was released in 2009 and comes in a 100ml/3.4 fl oz matte black bottle which I think looks quite sophisticated. When you first spray it it's like a blast of citrus, it's very fresh and vibrant. The projection is quite strong until it dries down then you get the woody pepperiness. I don't smell the tequila coming through at all but I do get a bit of soapiness from the lavender and musk.â £ Even though it's a mens perfume I feel it can be worn by women too and both myself and my partner have worn it all week. It's a very nice summer kind of scent and I think we'll be fighting over it as he likes it just as much as me.

Hits heavy at first, but it subsides a few seconds after spraying. The scent is a mildly sweet floral with woodsy overtones. I am not a fan of musk. This perfume does have musk undertones but it’s desirable with the beautifully blended notes, such as; mandarin, Bergamot, apple martini, orchid, white amber, patchouli, cedar wood, lavender, woods, paper whites, rosewood, white amber. I have a lot of perfumes, ranging from designer to celebrity, and I reach for this one all the time! It is a more "mature" fragrance, but I think it's just kind of "grown up". I'm 31 and feel totally confident wearing it, for reference. The top smells of Lavender and bergamot, and the Lavender persists throughout for me. It is a nice Lavender though (think Libre), not something dated or soapy. The heart notes are patchouli and orchid, and I feel like I can smell both of these well. I don't always love patchouli, but I like it in this formulation. It adds to the fanciness! The base notes are cedarwood, white amber, musk, and sultry woods. I came across this perfume after my two favourite perfumes are too expensive for me to justify these perfumes are Philosophys Inner Grace EDP RRP 44 for 60ml and Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDP RRP 56 for 50ml . I really love these perfumes and they are rather similar to each other in some aspects. I noticed several reviews for these perfumes mentioned SJPs Lovely perfume as being very similar and much more affordable practically double the quantity for half of the price so I thought I would give it a go, despite not being able to find it to smell in any shops.I am so glad I purchased this. They are so similar yet I think I actually prefer Lovely as it smells slightly fresher and lighter, whereas For Her can be a bit too heavy and musky at times, in my opinion anyway.This is perfect not only for the value but because I think its impossible to over do it no matter how many sprays you use it never is in your face like some sweeter, stronger, perfumes can be. Im thinking it would be great for every day use and great for things like interviews where you want to make a nice impression without being overpowering.The scent is fresh, clean, lightly floral, lightly musky and delicate. I can see all ages loving this, I am 22 and adore it but I feel that I could give it as a present to any older relatives of mine and they would like it.I would recommend it if you are a fan of For Her or Inner Grace as you are guaranteed to love this too. Its also a great one to get for a lady as a present because it is rather subtle so I cant imagine anyone would take a strong dislike to it.I will definitely be purchasing again I could do with a smaller size to take out in my handbag for during the day touch ups.

I purchased this as part of my elderly mothers Birthday gifts, & she was delighted (as nobody had bought her any new perfume for Christmas or her Birthday, which is only couple days after Christmas).She is a very elegant elderly lady with extremely delicate skin, & she was absolutely delighted with this perfume!I am usually not a fan of Celebrity fragrances, & especially tacky ones like Jessica Parker....but i must say, she really nailed this fragrance, as it is exactly as its called 'LOVELY'!!It is not overpowering in the strong department, but you can definitely smell its lovely delicate scent, & it lingers.....ideal for sensitive ladies like my mum! What is that smell?

I sprayed this on years ago at the perfume counter at a high end store. I loved it! I don't know what you sent me, but it wasn't the Lovely that I remembered. The bottle was a "Tester" and came in a ordinary white box. When I sprayed it on, it has a very weird chemical smell to it. I thought it was just me, then I sprayed it into the air and it smelled the same. I left it on my skin for an hour, and there was no change in it, so I washed it off. I was very disappointed. I would send the bottle back, but I believe it would cost more than what I paid for it.

Today I received my first purchase. I bought Lovely by SJP. I don't know what you have sent me but it has NOTHING in common with the real Lovely perfume which I've worn on and off for years. This is truly awful, reeking of a strong, medicinal scent. I honestly can't believe you would send out this badly smelling chemical concoction and call it perfume! I also bought a basic Jovan musk, another old stand by that has never let me down. Sorry, but again a FAIL. Hardly any sniff whatsoever from a usually very strong scent. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. I will be returning both for a full credit.

Will Wear Forever

Lovely is one of the most unique perfumes I have owned and I have been wearing it since it came out...I believe 2005! This fragrance is light, sexy, clean and I it definitely makes a statement. It is not overpowering, but it isn't shy either. It reminds me of a sexy introvert that turns a lot of heads. What I mostly smell is florals and musk.
