The Saramonic SR-HM4C is a cardioid handheld microphone with a built-in wireless VHF transmitter that delivers broadcast-quality sound. Designed for the SR-WM4C Wireless System (sold separately), it couldn’t be easier to start using: put in batteries, press Power, switch it to the same channel as the receiver (A, B, C, or D) — and that’s it! Lightweight, ergonomic and rugged, yet remarkably inexpensive, it is designed for the tough world of filmmaking while having a rich feature set. It operates on four selectable channels, so if you encounter interference, you simply switch to another channel. Plus, the switch is hidden behind the battery door, so you won’t accidentally change it when in use. The Off/On switch features a middle position that puts the SR-HM4C into Mute mode, which gives the person holding it privacy. When powered on, a built-in LED glows green when the batteries have sufficient power and turns red when it’s time for fresh batteries. A protective ring around the grill prevents the mic from rolling when resting on flat surfaces.
