I bought these shoes in the spring for use on the rocky terrain at my cottage. The comfort and fit are good but I quickly discovered that they have no grip on wet rocks and I was lucky to avoid a bad fall. This made them useless for my purpose and I needed to replace them with another brand. I am very disappointed that the material used for the soles was not adequately tested on shoes at this significant price point.From A senior who is not risking a bad fall.

I can no longer wear them as it presents a tripping hazard on the trails. Not sure if this pair was just a lemon or if they are using a different glue.

These hiking shoes are more comfortable than my regular gum shoes!! I feel like I’m wearing supportive slippers!! They are so good that I insisted my husband buy a pair of the men’s hiking shoes. He loves them too. We both just bought regular hiking boots. I fear they will never get used.

I bought these shoes at one of the best local shoe stores and really like the comfort and fit. But they're NOT waterproof! Just walking through wet grass gets my feet wet and then they take forever to dry! I've been breaking these in for a couple months now to walk the Camino, but they're just not going to cut it.
I have an old pair of excursions that I still wear. I had a week in the mountains planned. I knew I would be doing some hiking so I purchased this new pair. I have other brands of hiking shoes but not totally happy with them. This was the best decision I have made. These were so comfortable from the moment I first put them on. The fit was perfect. I wear a size 8, medium width which is what I ordered and they were great. Thanks Saucony.
I wish I could love these, and I really would, if they were sized properly. They are waterproof and they feel good, except they seem to be a half size too small - it is not just that they are narrow at the top, which is fine for my narrow feet, but they are slightly too short on one foot. It felt snug when I put them on but I thought I must be imagining it. Then I took my dogs for a long walk and was grateful to take them off after. I have other saucony shoes, size 7.5, and they fit perfectly. But not these. Disappointed that I will have to give these away because I can’t return once used and I am not going to wear them again. Sizing is so important for DTC online sales. I would size up 1/2 size for this style!
This sneaker is great for the gym and walking. Very comfortable, good arch support and no slippage of the socks at the heel. The medium width in this Excursion style is fine for my wide foot without any issues. Saucony has been a nice go to sneaker for everyday wear.
Love them! They felt stiff and hard at first, but once I started wearing them there seemed to be more spring to the sole. Very comfortable. Great for walking the dog through early morning dew-covered grass. My feet don’t get wet anymore and the shoes provide the support my feet need. I can also now be comfortable when walking the dog in the rain. Again, feet stay dry and they are well-supported, unlike in many rubber boots. Thank you Saucony!
I like this shoe. I like how it looks, and how it feels. In a marketplace of oversized heels and wild colors, this shoe looks good with lots of clothes including blue jeans. The only thing is, on a rainy day, the soles do not have a really good grip and I can slip.
I just purchased these to walk the dog. We walk daily. It's cold and wet where I live and I like the fact these are waterproof. They are extremely comfortable. I typically wear a 6.5 but sized up to a 7 so I can add a thicker sock for warmth. First time walking in them, it was like they were already broken in. I have a number of issues with my feet but these fit great. I do like the black + grey combo with the blue laces but they do look a bit masculine.
