Saucony Mens Triumph 20 Shoes Black/White

(324 reviews)

The Saucony Triumph 20 provides maximum comfort and softness that lasts. Saucony added a new PWRRUN+ foam cushioning that is softer, lighter and more resilient than ever before. Designers added extra cushioning underfoot for more comfort, which increased the stack height and heel-to-toe drop. A newly updated midsole geometry gives you a soft and smooth rocker feel that transitions you seamlessly throughout your run. A new upper and lacing design dials in the fit and feel. There is a better lockdown at the eyelets to secure your heel. The blown rubber outsole is durable to handle all your training miles. The Saucony Triumph 20 is one of the best cushioned running shoes for your runs.

My last pair of Saucony's Triumph! Why is it so expensive? It is the most simple mould. Stackhight raised to 10 mm. So i land earlier on my heel. The outsole is very small, so it wil wil wear verry verry fast. I thaugt the would use thikker rubber, but saucony did'nt. They last about 200 Km? Te heel consists of two parts, and a wide groove in the middle, it makes it unstable.

Awesome shoes with one small change.

Awesome shoes! Cushioning, grip and tread height, energy return, lockdown, everything is like a dream on these shoes... Minus one thing for me... The heal just feels really strange and I almost returned the shoes because I could not get my heel seated. Found out that the liners in these are EXTREMELY thick and once I switched those out with a thinner profile liner my heel feels MUCH better seated and comfortable. Might just be my heel but other than that these are the best long run and easy day shoes I've owned!Switch out the liners with a thinner profile like I did if you have the heel issue and you'll be all good.

I bought this a little over a month ago. Liked it so much, I came back for a second pair on sale. I've liked the Triumph 18 I got a couple years ago. Great everyday trainer and easily put in 600+ road miles without any visible breakdown or outsole wear. Tried the 19's which seemed a bit softer and an improvement on the 18's. Heard a rave review on the Triumph 20 and I got to agree it's a great show for me. Nice fit, breathable upper, lots of stack without feeling unstable, soft midsole material, cushy, yet responsive. Love the Vizipro color. Mid 100's miles into it, still loving it, so I bought the second pair. Never can be certain to get them again.

My sons forever shoe
19 March 2023

I bought these for my son who works in a trauma unit of a hospital. He puts on 30,000 steps a night. Up to now, he is starting at 35 years old to have painful foot problems. He said he will never wear anything else as these have turned out to be wonderful and so comfortable. They have alleviated much of his pain allowing him to get through his 12 hour night. Mom knows best! (Because I also wear triumphs).

Perfect shoe for long runs
31 March 2023

These are fantastic for long runs and easy-to-moderate paced runs, and they’re helping to make my marathon training a joy. I put 530 miles on the Triumph 19s, which I loved, and they were still going strong except for some of the rubber on the sole wearing away at the heel, which is understandable given I run a lot on gravel and rough surfaces. I like the 20s even better, they’re lighter and even more comfortable, and I expect similar durability. The foam in the midsole is great, and they’re stable enough for me. I rotate these with the Endorphin Speeds, which makes for a perfect combo. My son is a high school cross-country and track runner and has the same rotation, loves them both, and has gotten a ton of miles out of them. Also, thank you so much for making these ... MoreThese are fantastic for long runs and easy-to-moderate paced runs, and they’re helping to make my marathon training a joy. Also, thank you so much for making these in wide, they are plenty wide enough for my 2E feet. My one small request would be to make the laces a little longer, as they’re a bit too short to do heel-lock lacing comfortably, so I had to replace them with 59” laces.

Saucony Triumph 20, Stunning Comfort and Technolog
14 April 2023

I have found the Saucony Men's Triumph 20 shoes to be some of the most comfortable and technically competent running/fitness shoes I have ever owned! Unfortunately, I have very little arch and have found the PWRRUN+ midsole design provides maximum cushioning and excellent energy return. The shoe's FORMFIT technology ensures a virtually custom fit that seems to adapt to my foot and provides optimal support, whether running or doing a variety of cardio at the gym. The TRIFLEX outsole technology provides maximum flexibility and traction, making it perfect for high impact fitness.

TRIUMPH 20
5 June 2023

One of the problem is that for some reason there is not as much as before cushioned material around the heel area. In the first TRIUMPH ISO sneakers, there was a lot of material and the shoe structure was not felt at all, it was very comfortable. However, in ISO 20 sneakers there is a feeling of two noticable stitched lines in the heel area , which chafes the heel. Also, when I fully step down on my foot, a bend forms in the area of the big toe, and there is an inner insert at the bend area. This insert starts to press on my big toe when I fully step down and it's also quite noticable, i don't know may be it was defective. It's noticable only on my left leg. I was a big fan of ISO TRIUMPH , one of the most comfortable ever, but 20 TRIUMPH is not the same, have some ... MoreOne of the problem is that for some reason there is not as much as before cushioned material around the heel area. Triumph 20 - One heck of a running shoe!
1 March 2023

After searching for a well cushion daily trainer I was super happy to have discovered the Triumph 20. One of the most comfortable running shoes I have ever tried. The foam is cushioned without being too squishy. The fit and feel are super comfortable and my feet always feel great when I run in the Triumph 20. Outsole is super as well. In a nutshell, I love the Triumph 20 for daily training, long runs, easy runs. If I could only pick one running shoe, the Triumph 20 would be it.

Wow what a difference compared to the Triumph 19 - Like running on a cloud... get them!
9 January 2023

Running on clouds !I've ran approx 11k and these shoes are definitely worth the investment. Extra cushion compared to the Triumph 19 D. They fit well and don't mind the "rocking" form. I know others don't like the change...but I welcome it! Looking forward to many more runs in them!Small drawback - short laces.

saved running for me
22 November 2022

I ran cross country/track in college but in the decade since, I’ve had autoimmune flares and gained nearly 100 pounds due to inactivity. With flares under control, I wanted to re-experience that runner’s high but every run was painful and knees would swell for days. I was considering giving up but the run club I joined was raving about Saucony. Literally half the club sports a pair of Saucony so I gave the shoe finder a chance. Knowing I wanted a max cushion shoe, I went with the Triumph 20s. Knee pain be gone. I’m averaging just 14 miles per week, not a lot but I’m a 2XL guy and taking it slow. If I remember anything from my glory days, it’s that consistency is key and thus far these shoes have allowed the consistency I need to get back in the saddle.
