I got these shoes for my first backpacking trip 2 years ago and they have held up so well. Comfortable, lightweight, and good grip. Went on another week-long trip recently during a downpour. Of course my shoes, socks, etc. were soaked, but even though I only had a misty breeze to dry them out that night, my feet stayed relatively dry the next day. I was amazed and so happy! (I also had a giant stick stab into the laces, but was stopped from going through the shoe thankfully). Very grateful to have these as my goto hiking shoes :)

These shoes suit my outdoor activities perfectly. I do a lot of coastal walking and I always feel very sure footed when scrambling and climbing around on the rocks. I like having the gore tex as I don't have to worry about encountering some water and getting wet feet. Last year I purchased the Peregrine 11 and I really liked them but felt that I would be more comfortable in a bigger size as sometimes they feel a bit small, particularly in hotter weather. Very happy with a half size bigger in the Peregrine 12, and the updates to the design are a bonus, absolutely loving them. A bit extravagant to purchase a new pair but worth it.

Very good shoe, have ordered these multiple times over the years. Gore-Tex lasts for a couple of years, then it seems to fade (and the sole wears out). Biggest negative - *horrible* colors. The pink on the sole of the black / gray was is absolutely awful, and the light gray one is very 'bright'. I'm a little embarrassed to wear them outside, but alas, I have no choice (at least the dog doesn't care about my appearance). Please make normal colors, not all women want pink and bright colors!

I bought these shoes specifically to hike in Zion National Park. I am so glad that I did. I typically don’t leave reviews, but these shoes deserve it. For reference, the conditions were snow on the trails with streams and puddles. I was able to keep reaction on the snow and keep my feet dry even after stepping in a stream. I was worried my sock would be wet, but it was completely dry. There was enough room in the toe box and room for a curex insert which I normally put in my shoes. Overall, definitely recommended for hiking.
These shoes slide on very easily, great for getting you out the door quick. Not stiff like some other GTX shoes. I wish I could have loved them, but I'll be returning them and this is why: I found that the design of these shoes pulled my gait inward sharply and toward my big toe, almost like a rocker heel but a bit more like someone grabbing the steering wheel from you rather than guiding you along. This shoe might be helpful if you have supination issues with your gait. I have high arches and tend to wear Hoka One Ones. These were almost a great shoe, just not right for my feet/gait.
Purchased these for my daughter and having the waterproof lining is a fantastic feature to have. She was wearing another pair of Saucony peregrine's previously which fit her very well, but she outgrew. That pair were not waterproof. These are perfect for her. Rain, a bit of snow and dew on the grass won't be much of an issue anymore! My daughter has a slimmer foot and these fit her well. I would say we also had to size up by a half size based on many of her other shoes/boots... but then again, her feet are still growing, so she may just be inching into the bigger sizes (usually a 8.5, purchased a size 9)
I have a pair of Gortex Peregrine 8s that are my favorite shoes ever. But they're falling apart so I need a new pair. Unfortunately these are not a suitable replacement. The left foot fits wonderfully. However, the toe box in the right foot seems way smaller. I tried to tough it out for a few months, hoping that I would "break them in." Instead, I developed a painful bump on my right index toe that hasn't gone away in over a month after I've stopped wearing these. I see from another review (from LauraSJ) that she someone else has had similar problems. Sadly I share her suspicion that there is a sizing defect. It is very disappointing, especially given how expensive these are.
I first thought these were smaller than my normal size when I first tried them on. Then I realized it was something about the feeling of the rubber front and decided to run with them. They are amazing. They are slimmer than my previous two pairs, but not lacking in room in the toe box. The rubber front and rest of the shoe has allowed me to run and hike through muddy and wet trails. The additional padding and stability in the heel are awesome. I really love this update. Only wish there were more colors to choose from like the Peregrine.
I purchased these in June 2021 and have worn them every other day for runs/walks for about a year. They are waterproof, to a point; prolonged walking through wet grass or submerging your foot is definitely the threshold. I find these shoes to be very comfortable for running, walking, kicking around a ball, or for chores around the yard. The tread is a bit aggressive for city/casual use, but that's fine for me.Less than a year in, part of the cloth upper had started to fray; a year in, the rubber on the sole is separating in some areas. I would say I am a heavy to moderate abuser of these shoes, but I kind of expected more durability long-term. Oh well, I will definitely be purchasing again when these finally do kick the bucket.
I really love this sneaker. This is my first pair of saucony sneakers and they are supportive , comfortable, and fit great. I kind of have special needs when it comes to footwear. I train racehorses and I bathe these horses after their race. So basically I have water landing on the top of my toes. When this happens it goes right to my toes. I was hoping when they said “even in the wettest conditions feet stay dry” would mean the top by my toes and under the laces (the tongue) was waterproof but it is not the case with this shoe. Totally bummed , I love the support it offers but I will have to continue to search for a waterproof sneaker with a leather upper and not mesh.
