Bought them for my husband. He loves them, they are very light, comfortable and the Gore-Tex option is really a plus. His feet stayed dry on walks across wet grass when mine got soaked (I also have Saucony Peregrine 13 runners, but mine aren't waterproof). I'll definitely will go for Gore-Tex for my next pair!).

Good lightweight shoe

Great lightweight shoe for off trail. Low 4mm heel provides stability in rough terrain. Wide forefoot for comfort and 4 mm lugs for grip. I’m on my 4 th pair.

Good shoe but poor fit

Because the product was only available on line I had to rely on a store recommendation re the correct size to order. This turned out to be incorrect as the shoes are too tight and uncomfortable to wear. Would have been better if the shoe was available in-store so I could have tried it on before purchase. The returns policy is so limited and restrictive, it looks like I'm stuck with a pair of shoes I can't wear! My loss, Salvos or Vinnies gain :-(

Great performer

I have been a fan of the Peregrine for some years, great all round and trail hiking shoe. The GTX version has been nice for keeping my feet dry during wet conditions or light snow. The new sole is more durable and has great grip on loose conditions.

Maybe just a bad pair….

This is the 3rd pair of Peregrine’s I have owned. Have loved the first 2 but these fit differently in the heel. The heal cup feels like something sharp is poking through and digging into my heel. Unfortunately these are going back.

New last narrower and shorter?
26 August 2024

I ended up returning these and buying another pair of Peregrine 12 GTX. It felt like Saucony had changed the last so that the Peregrine 13 was shorter and narrower than the 12. I was fine with the new length but not the width and had to return them. Fortunately, they still had some 12's left and they were on sale for the same price as the 13's

Nice shoe, but not for me
4 November 2023

Unfortunately, this particular shoe doesn't suit my feet. I found the shoe far too snug, yet the shoe length was fine - I upsized a full size from normal training shoes. Very low volume in the shoe cramped my feet. Wanted to like them, but sadly had to send them back.

Not perfect, but also Not bad

Good shoes. I appreciate the waterproofing that comes with Gore-Tex. My only issue is that they are a bit narrow for my feet. I have kept they anyways as I suspect they may widen as I break them in.

I bought this shoe for winter running. The goretex keeps the foot not only dry in most situations but also significantly warmer. I expect extremely good footing. The rubber is very coarse. Luckily we didn’t have snow or ice yet so that I didn’t try them yet

Unfortunately they aren’t true to size, (I know my size in their running shoes and also in other brands). Not sure if I went up a half size if that would fix it or not, but because returns cost shipping I’m returning and will go to a store I can try on. I wore them around the house for a little bit just to see. Based on the Brooks and other brands I’ve had, I think even if they did fit I’d go in a different direction.
