I love the Ride 16s so far! They’re relatively lightweight, very comfortable right out of the box, lots of support throughout the foot, and the outsole is a bit flared out for support (like previous Ride models) but isn’t garishly wide. I tried the Ride 15s once before and the 16s feel very similar but maybe a bit less stiff. Also huge props to Saucony for providing a thick, cushioned insole – I feel WAY too many companies skimp on insoles in running shoe and I often have to purchase better ones so my feet are more comfortable in the long term. I’ve tried the Ride 16s on road, sidewalk, and track for 3-6 mile runs and have no complaints about the traction. Because of the shallow/flat tread I would think they aren’t suited for trail-like terrain but Saucony clearly ... MoreI love the Ride 16s so far! REI graciously issued a partial refund and I’ve been able to use a bleach pen to get most of the stains out. Both shoes had laces that appeared like they came from the factory and neither had a speck of dirt or dust on the sole, so I’m not sure why one shoe would have stains on the upper and the other would be completely clean when neither had been worn!

I purchased these shoes because they fit well and I have had several pairs I’ve the years. Started way back at version 7. These shoes seem to have a deeper sole and more cushion on insole. I did find the heel a littler wider than the previous version. It will just take. A little longer to break in as my heel gets used to that.
I’ve only run in the Ride since the 14 but these will be my favorite. The fit is almost identical to the last iteration but feels more secure and slightly firmer. However, the laces are very short to where I can barely tie a double knot. Will need to skip a lace hole or get new laces altogether.
Really comfortable. I great pair of running shoes and soft enough to be comfortable on roads and pavements.
