I had to return them because I need a winter running shoe (waterproof), so this is only a review for the time I spent with the shoes on in my apartment. Very comfortable, drawstring closure is really practical (I wish all my running shoes had this), extremely grippy soles with serious traction, and a nice look on the feet. Based on reviews I ordered a half size up and they fit really nice, wouldn’t want to go smaller. Wish the Saucony goretex peregrine was made in this style!

I recently purchased the peregrines 11 in the cherry colour which is beautiful and looks exactly as pictured. My hunt for the perfect hiking sneaker is over. They fit true to size . Many of the other hikers I tried were too wide in the forefoot , these were an ideal fit. They feel supportive and have ample cushioning. My feet are protected from the rocks or tree roots along the trail. I have worn them several times on local trails in my community and highly recommend the peregrine 11's.

Been a fan of the Peregrine for years. This model in particular is super comfy. I also like/need the gore-tex for the winter. I live in the mountains and often run on packed snow, and the sides of my shoes can get wet. The GoreTex keeps my fee dry and comfy (I'm talking PACKED snow.... if it's powder/fluff I'm on my skis!). No matter what shoe, I always get longer laces and do the "heel lock" with the extra hole. Makes a world of difference keeping my heel snug in the shoe.

Saucony is my go-to brand for running shoes, so I decided I'd try these for hiking. They've been amazing! I usually hike 15-20 miles/week and have worn them on a couple of 20+ milers. They are lightweight, stable, comfortable and have great grip going up and down all types of surfaces...sand, rock, dirt, gravel, boulders. I've had them for over a year now and I would say they've for sure gone over 800 miles and I am just looking to replace them. The shoes have held up great, everything is still intact with no holes, but some of the tread is worn smooth and I'm beginning to notice it's time for some new ones. I couldn't be happier with how they've held up. I couldn't be happier with how they've held up. And one of the things I love about Saucony is with my running shoes I can buy the same model year after year and trust that even with improvements they will be similar enough to the old model that they will still work really well for me. I love not having to start the hunt all over again. I'm assuming it will be the same with the Peregrines. Ordering my next pair right now!
I bought these shoes as a lighter weight alternative to my standard hiking boots. The original purpose was for a rim to rim hike at the Grand Canyon but I've been wearing them hiking in Maine in preparation for our trip and they have been fantastic. The sole has a great grip and is sturdy enough to deal with the rocks and roots on the Maine trails. But the shoes are so much lighter than hiking boots and are breathable. I haven't worn my hiking boots since I bought these!
This is my second pair of these shoes. Love them, my all time favorite trail running shoe. Firm enough sole that I don’t feel the sharp rocks, yet still responsive enough that I can feel the ground I’m running on. Enough cushion to keep my feet happy even after 3-4 hrs of running. Roomy and comfortable without being too big/loose feeling. Grippy on various kinds of terrain!
I'm a women's 11 in most walking/running shoes (i.e. Asic Kayano) and these (women's 11) are true to size. My feet are slightly narrow and these work great (if you have a wide foot the normal B width might be tight). The grey and teal are nice looking. I like the (rubber/vinyl) strip around end of toe. It helps keep end of shoe looking nice/new.
Loved the idea of this shoe as I have switched to mostly running trails. But on the first time out, and I decided not to run, but walk to see how they feel. My feet were aching before I finished. I normally have worn a more structured shoe for prononation but I also have orthotics inserted. I will probably try them again and hope I can at least use them for trail walks. I dont think I will use them for running
I had a pair of these, and liked them so much that I decided to buy another pair. Good for running as well as for walking on hard surfaces. I was pleased with my purchase from Rogan. The shoes arrived quickly and were at a good price.
I bought these shoes for winter running. The color is a beautiful striking burgundy and tan. Construction of the shoe seems very well made. The traction on the bottom also seems good for icy weather but I did not try them outside.I usually wear an 8.5 in Asics but bought these in 9 as per the sizing chart (25.5cm) and I think the sizing was right. I returned it because the upper was a bit too stiff for my liking and my heel was slipping. Had I gone a size down, the toe box would have been too narrow. Too bad because they are a very nice looking shoe!
