I was able to assemble the table by myself except for putting the top on. Overall, it was fairly easy. The trim pieces are little difficult to slide on though. But the table came together beautifully and the lift top feature is really great. The top lifts and lowers with ease. Its not the smoothest transition but it doesnt bother me.

Beautiful and practical! Have had many compliments on it. Only downside was the effort needed to put it together. There was some purely aesthetic features that were difficult to fit due to improperly sized grooves that were cut out. Outside of that and now it's all together, we love it!

Took a while to put together because it was fiddly, but it turned out really good. Exactly as pictured.My husband uses it as a table when he comes and works in the study with me.Lots of people that come over think it's a great idea.

Arrived well packaged as a flat pack. Individual pieces were clearly marked and it took about 2.5 hrs for me to assemble without any problem. The instruction booklet provided was detailed and easy to follow. All pre drilled holes matched perfectly. The pop up mechanism is great (works smoothly if you hold the side edges to open, take drinks off first to avoid spilling) and you have 12.5cm storage height inside the top compartment. A great looking coffee table - exactly what I was looking for.

Good product overall. However the lifting mechanmism has no lockstop to prevent the table from being accidentally pushed back down again once lifted up. There was also a part of the assembly process that involved sliding some decorative slat that could be improved on. It was very difficult to perfectly align the slat to sit flush with the edge as you slide it in place.

I love the combined usefulness of this table.When we feel like eating in front of the lounge TV or using computer the lift top table is so handy! and I have a safe space underneath for books etc.I do wonder if the longevity will be there with the veneer and when putting together there were a couple of gaps that didn't look like they should be there. Also you can see on the veneer some flaws that don't really look part of the original wood design... So it doesn't get a perfect rating for those and the gaps.It seemed all really well made and good quality too with how it was joined together. Normally we glue kit sets as they can tend to fall apart later, but we didn't bother with this one.Still really happy with it. Not being the most mechanically minded person, the box remained unpacked in my hallway for several days as I mentally and emotionally grappled with the assembly job at hand. I kept saying to myself .... "I can do this" life is full of challenges - what's another one ...Finally biting the bullet, I unpacked the contents and commenced. I followed the assembly instructions to the letter and to my pleasant surprise - bang presto ... Job done! All on my own with no need to grab my son (who is infinitely smarter than I) to lend a hand. Assembly was a breeze, instructions super clear ... and as an added bonus I felt a sense of accomplishment.

Front Yard Furniture

Looks good in the picture, doesn't it? The color is very nice but once it's put together following the great instruction booklet, in about an hour or so, it looks like something sold at Walmart. It looks very cheap. It's not sturdy as it should be. Don't let toddlers play near it due to the sharp edges and corners.I won't buy another one from the internet. If I want cheap front yard furniture to put next to the cars on blocks in the front yard, I'll purchase from Sauder again.I'm going to see of I can give it away at the trashy swap meet.Don't waste your money unless you're in to cheap crap.I'm giving it one star because I have to rate it.

Good looking! Takes some effort to build though

Just bought this online in September, took a while to get it delivered to CT (about a month, but no info on how long I'd be waiting which was less than great).This took a lot of effort to build. Like, 2.5 hours with help. The lift-top is great but a little wobbly while moving it from top to lifted position. Not something I'm worried about though long term. It looks pretty, it's veneer wood finish and the edges can be a little sharp but all in all a good product so far.

We got this table and assembled it a few days ago and are very pleased with it! . . It comes with a lot of parts, but assembly was very easy and my husband and I had fun doing it. . . The table itself is very sturdy and feels very well made and it is very easy to lift the top piece up. Once it’s up, it feels very sturdy and secure. My only complaint is very minor, which is why I’m still giving it 5 Stars- when you close the top, there’s a little gap between the top and the base of the table, but if you press down on the top, it closes flush fine. This could be due to us tightening screws too much too ♀️ . . Overall, we are both very pleased with it!!
