I decided to ignore the other review. So the 1st thing that happened is that it emptied over all my groceries, which I had to wash. You'll need to secure the lid yourself with cellophane tape, if you buy this.

My family has been using this for years and not once has the lid ever fell off? Unless u all had a defective batch all i can say is don't be so rough i guess? I'm dumbfounded how you've all had this problem we've never experienced in years.
I’ve lost count of the amount of meals that have been ruined by the lid flying off whilst shaking these! Asda don’t seem to do an equivalent so I keep buying and meaning to sellotape the lid on but always forget...but I shouldn’t have to! Wok full of dinner for 4 ruined last night.
Cheap sealed product which protected against the spillage of the soap products which opened and saturated everything
Bought a few of these, couple of times didn't even make it past delivery as they emptied in the bag and the couple that did get delivered ended up ruining meals as the lids fell off, gave up with them in the end, won't buy again. Morrisons do one where the lid is secured to the container, much better :)
Read the Size. I purchased this thinking I was getting a big one. Good for keeping next to the cooker
Small SAXA table & cooking salt container is OK, nothing wrong with this product. The larger SAXA is much better value for less money, is the reason was given a star less.
It's OK. But for many yrs now we've used grinding salt & pepper out of mills. So maybe this is an unfair review. Only used it because I moved hse and can't find the salt mill. Can't enjoy food without salt & too much of it. Bad habit of mine. For purpose, I s'posse it's OK.
