Great trolley but for stair gaps greater than 150mm, the wheels get caught in between stairs. If the stairs have a solid backing this product is awesome.

Great trolley but for stair gaps greater than 150mm, the wheels get caught in between stairs. If the stairs have a solid backing this product is awesome.

We purchased today and when we got home, we had to put the wheels on so we could use it. There were two split pins and washers but no holes. We had to drill holes in the axle so the wheels wouldn't fall off. Annoying as we had to purchase a drill bit, and I drilled one a bit crooked.
Used this to shift a filing cabinet up some stairs. The wheel assemblies are made from thin pressed sheet metal and are so flimsy they flex with the slightest bit of twist that you would get by going over uneven surfaces. I thought they were going to break off or bend trying to turn a corner with a load on. I couldn't see the wheels when I purchased the unit as they were wrapped in bubble wrap inside the trolley.
Needed sturdy trolley to move heavy household items. It did the job perfectly and did not cost $$$. Tethering ratcheted strap was very useful.
It broke after about half an hour of use, it goes up and down stairs but it doesn’t like turning sideways. The flimsy metal whee hubs bent almost instantly when trying to turn the moving trolley.
Heavy duty trolley. Easy to put together. Easy to use, even with very heavy objects. Rolls well, strap is very useful. Delivered quickly.
Too heavy and too bulky, it cannot make turns in any stairs we tried once its loaded. I believe it would work only if your stairs are very wide and with no turns.
Good sturdy construction and I was able to lift some heavy stuff up the stairs. A bit heavy and can roll back if you are not careful while carrying heavy stuff. I think it would have been better with pneumatic wheels.
