I have three other pairs of Quests and the manufacturing was better on those than on this new pair. This pair should have been a second. The band is tighter, almost uncomfortable (definitely leaves a mark) and the fly was sewn in an extra centimetre. Instead of the material following the pattern the outer flap was sewn in and has now ripped. As with all Saxx the waistband is a bit high, but I’m used to that. I love the Quest and hope the next pair will have had better QA.

Quite simply, this is a great pair of boxer briefs. I've told all my friends that do anything outdoors or travel about them, and every single person that has bought them has liked them too! I have worn this product at conferences, on the trail, and while working out. First, it can be very compactly rolled for storage in your bag for travel. I really appreciate that because I try to take smaller bags when possible. The ballpark pouch (hammock) actually works. I was skeptical at first, but everything is supported during runs and while doing interval training and weights. Next it actually wicks sweat away and dries incredibly fast. That's just really nice in general.Because of back squats I have large thighs. One of the problems I have with a lot of boxer briefs is ... MoreQuite simply, this is a great pair of boxer briefs. One of the problems I have with a lot of boxer briefs is that the elastic at the bottom (the part that wraps around the thigh) gets stretched out and will cause the boxer brief leg to start riding up. I have never had that problem with these boxer briefs. So, if I'm wearing slim fitting chinos at a conference I don't have a noticeable bunch up of material on my thigh. If you have bigger thighs like I do, you will understand completely what I'm talking about. Finally, last but certainly not least, the material actually feels great against the skin. This was actually what caused me to wear them outside of the trail. I went on a six mile hike with them initially, really liked them, and the just brought it from my outdoor gear clothing to my everyday wardrobe. I highly recommend this product, and you will be thankful you picked up a pair.

I feel like Goldilocks - these Quest’s are just right. I have many pairs of Saxx boxer briefs … old style kinetics, new style kinetics, old style quests, vibes, and a few others I don’t recall the name of … but these Quests are the closest to perfection I’ve found. Just the right amount of compression, the waistband is the perfect strength, they’re lightweight and breathable, plus they dry insanely fast. The only change I would make if I could would be to make them fly-less, but that’s just personal preference. I’ll be stocking up on these.

Very comfortable and breathable. With regular cotton I found that by the end of the day things could smell a bit funky, but with these I can wear them for 24 hours without issue. The supportiveness for 'the boys' is definitely the best solution I've encountered in underwear. The only thing to be careful of us make sure you order the right inseam size! It's hidden on the product page and isn't obvious. The 5" pair I bought to try are great, but after liking them so much I ordered another 6 pairs...that came with 3" inseams. I find the 3" rides up and pinches in away that the 5" doesn't.
Next to the right pair of socks, there might be no other article of clothing that can have a bigger impact on a long-distance hike than underwear. Unlike socks, though, there are not a ton of great options out there. Underwear needs to be comfortable, be supportive but not tight, prevent chafing, breathe, not get stinky, and hopefully look good. The Quest 2.0 Briefs fit that bill. They are just form fitting enough to keep things from moving around or rubbing. The Ballpark Pouch is comfortable - you can feel it a little - but it does make a big difference in preventing skin on skin sticking. The flat anti-roll waist band is comfortable under a pack hip belt and doesn't have any tags that will rub or itch. Even after wearing for several days in a row (as, let's face it, you do on a backpacking trip) they did not develop any sort of funk. So far they are also not showing any signs of the fabric pilling. This is the 5th brand of underwear I have tried in the past two years (wool v. synthetic, pouch v no pouch, etc.) and I think this pair has them all beat. And they look pretty good too!
i always thought that underwear should be top class and very comfortable , the functionality should be good , you can wear well-seated top class clothes , but remember that no top class overcloth can compensate for bad underwear , the base must be good.Saxx Quest ;the function ; the fly in a boxer briefs , and the pouch , recognizing the male anatomy and giving space to it , I find this fantastic , the fly especially on boxer briefs , (because a boxer is bigger than a briefs) , is indispensable.comfortable ; The loose fit and the kind of fabric are fantastic.top class ; recognition of the anatomy of man, functional , and beautiful prints.the men's under clothing market still has a lot of bad stuff unfortunately , so I advise men to pay attention to this.
These are by far the most comfortable underwear I have owned. Difficult to find in the UK, I’m more than happy to pay a little extra to order them from Canada. They are not cheap but,in my opinion, they are worth every penny. They are very loose fit on me but are extremely comfortable in all weathers. Wicking material keeps everything cool and the quick dry nature is great for those long and strenuous walks. If you are used to cotton boxers then these are a perfect upgrade but if you prefer a bit more support then perhaps opt for a different model.
I was very pleased with my first pair of the Saax mens 5" boxer briefs. The material is very similar to the comparable Exofficio boxers, but somehow the Saxx ones feel softer and moves better against the skin. Remains to be seen how this holds up after a few washes, but I was very pleased with the comfort level after a couple of wears + washes. The 'ball park pouch' is definitely noticeable, but as someone who prefers snug comfort vs a lot of extra room, I can't say it was that much of a difference (neither more or less comfortable). I would say the biggest upside of these boxers was the soft and stretchy material and how it felt like you could easily wear them for a few days in a row if camping or traveling with no negative effects on comfort. Exofficio boxers are my standard go-to and I would say that these were more comfortable after the first few wears + washes. We will see if that holds up. If so, I will likely order more pairs of the Saxx as my Exofficio boxers wear out.
These underwear are the complete package! I'm a size 32-33 waist and the mediums are spot on fit wise. They are light, very breathable, resist bunching and very durable. I was a bit reluctant regarding the "ball pouch" but have full embraced it. Helps for running, working out and yoga to keep everything tucked away and less likely to chafe.I'll compare it to the two other underwear brands I use: smartwool 150s and exoffico. These are lighter and have WAY better odor control/breathability than the exofficio. If you like exofficio you will love these, I guarantee it. A step up in every regard. Not quite as soft as the smartwools and slightly worse odor control but don't bunch and are way more durable. While I received one pair for testing, I already own 6 other ... MoreThese underwear are the complete package! Love the colors, build quality and durability. Several pairs have been worn for a few months cumulatively with dozens of washes and no holes, stretching or nonsense. These are THE go to travel/workout/hiking underwear and I can not recommend them enough. I'm slowly converting over all my underwear. THE BEST.
Saxx Quest are the best underwear I've worn, and it's not close. They're lightweight and breathable to the point you forget you're even wearing them , they never bunch, and they keep your business exactly where it should be. There is no activity they're not suitable for, and are extremely durable. Whether its these or the long leg version, I won't wear anything else.
