I purchased this adjustable roller seat as my knees have had enough of hard surfaces...and all the reviews are very positive.I agree with everyone else,this item is one of SCA's better products.Very sturdy,plenty of room for tools and a comfy seat.Just One Thing - If youre a little bloke like myself,be careful when you operate the lifting mechanism as its like an ejector seat in a fighter plane.It has a very powerful lift and it nearly sent me to the moon LOL.So...if youre a little fella,you get a theme park ride for your money as well...bonus : )Great product and a VERY handy addition to my workshop arsenal.Highly Recommended.

The padding is thin; the seat could do with raising a bit more; the vinyl covering is minimally secured to the seat. Overall a cheap production. I expected a better quality roller seat than what I got with this seat for the money.

Comfortable to sit on - a very good addition to any workshop.Issues:Plastic cap sleeve will not stay clipped up under seat. Not sure of its purpose.Wheels are a bit small - they are stopped by small debris on the workshop floor. Good excuse to keep the floor swept I suppose!The tool tray could be higher. It is a bit of a stretch to reach tools in the tray when you are seated on the seat.
This is a good workshop stool at a reasonable price. The underneath tray will collect lots of dust and dirt so will need cleaning but is handy for storing a few items to roll around with you as your working on your project. The wheels are solid and it's nice and stable. I would have given it 5 starts rather than 4 if the adjustable seat would raise to a greater height, not much difference between bottom and top. I would recommend this product.
This seat is a perfect tool to have in the garage. Perfect job those jobs where you would otherwise be kneeling or on your hands and knees. It is a solid build, and comfortable seat cushion. The tool tray on the base is also a great feature.
Bought this on sale for $29. It's been an awesome addition to the garage. I was previously using a bucket as a seat while working on my bike and washing the wheels on the car. A must have for anyone who spends time working in the garage.
Very handy seat. It rolls over the concrete floor quite easily. The seat is comfortable for short durations. The height range isn't very great but it suits my needs.
When tacking the exceptionally complex task of assembling this item, please note the lack of assembly instructions, and avoid attempting to use the red cushion red side down. This is not meant to act as a suspension damper for your posterior, rather the chrome shaft is electroplated to protect it from the friction of if the cylinder fitted to the seat base...
pretty solid creeper seat. i actually use it as my computer desk seat as its compact. sometimes i sit there and just spin and spin and spin. then when im detailing all the cars in my household i whip the roller seat. im pretty sure i put it all together without having the need to screw anything, it was 70% done right out of the box. 3-4 pieces to join together. ez pz
