Stands were generally good for light vehicle use but feel some bracing is required between base and upright to give additional sideways strength. The double locking pin on height adjustment with a safety pin is a plus.

Economical jack stands

They were purchased at 40% discount. I have used them to support the rear of the car when it is supported at four points. They are the cheaper option but do the job as well compared to the ratchet ones used at the front.

Great value

They do the job. These are my second pair of stands but these are the cheaper type that just have the flat base instead of a pyramid design.Not to worry as they are rated at 1200kg each, which will easily handle my cars.They seem like good quality and YouTube videos of similar stands prove that the design is solid and safe.

Perfectly sized to sit a Nissan Leaf Battery on

Bought these jack stands for one reason only, to sit on the mounting lugs of a Nissan Leaf battery I was working on. These are perfectly sized for the task.

Strong and durable jack stands with powder coat finish that can 'take some abuse'. I used them to hold a fallen tree in place, so good for all sorts of jobs.

I bought these for my safety. They are what I wanted but they lift the front of the car extremely high maybe higher than always needed. The option of a lower height lift would be good.

They do the job

So despite the flimsy appearance, they do the job. The only thing I don't like is that the retaining clip for the holdfast pins is not really secured to the chain, it kind of just clips through there, and a good yank to get it out detaches the R-Clip from the chain. Not a huge deal, but it's small and easy to lose. Plus it's a very flimsy R-Clip, so mine are already bent after 2 uses.Overall, they do what they say on the tin, so there's no complaint there really, they're a robust stand and I could really say they're underrated for what I think I could put on them, but I don't have a need for bigger, heavier stands.

Very practical and useful stands.

I bought these particular Jack Stands even though I already have 3 other sets of different jack stands, because these stands are very practical for my lighter cars. However the lowest setting is useful on all my cars as sometimes I don't need to raise the car I am working on as high as usual. Plus on one of older cars that I jacked up recently I was able to place the stands under the rear suspension springs directly under the axle to support the car which wad then plenty high enough to work under. I am very shy of using jack stands etc under the sill area's. I have seen lots of damage done there to car sills with jacks and jack stands. Even at mechanical shops who should know better. Many years ago I had a car with rusted sills and and I learnt a lesson from that. The only time I go near a sill with a Jack or Jack stand is when I am100% sure there is a very solid jack point like a insert bar or verysolid jack area. So I would recommend these stands to any DIY motorist who requires them for the purpose I have just explained.
