As a retired motor mechanic I think using an engine flush and good quality oil , at the now extended service intervals , is vital to the longevity of modern engines.

Used this on a car I just bought with low kms. Service sticker said it hadn't gone far on current oil but to me it looked black. I took it for a drive with this on board and let it drain overnight. Real black oil continued to drip out for the next 15 hours. Paying to get oil done means they are not drained for long enough. Check the oil that is still flowing out after several house. It's gunk. Filled with Penrite synthetic and now driven 1000 ks and oil is clear.
