SCA Standard Radiator Coolant is a Type B, Organic Acid Technology (OAT) corrosion inhibitor type coolant concentrate. SCA Radiator Coolant is designed for use in vehicles and machinery where glycol coolants and Anti-freeze/anti-boil protection is not required. SCA Radiator Coolant includes low depletion rate organic inhibitors that will offer continued long term corrosion protection for up to 3 years or 100 000km, whichever is first. It is suitable for use with all metal types generally found in cooling systems, such as brass, copper, aluminium and cast iron. SCA Radiator Coolant is premixed at a 5% dilution with demineralised water to improve coolant performance. Not recommended for use in alloy engines after 1984. IMPORTANT:Type B coolants don't offer the necessary anti-freeze protection required for cold climates such as those found in the South Island. To prevent serious damage to your vehicles engine and cooling system, Type A anti-freeze/anti-boil coolants should be used.
