Bought two for a 8,000km trip outback at Uluru. The bungs do leak unless you use plumbers tape, but after that never had a problem, even on some major bouncing on dirt roads. More stable in a load than a jerrycan, but my wife struggled to lift a full one.

Its just the right size, I could raise a full container and drink from the outlet.I dropped a full one from the back of the ute onto concrete and it DIDN'T rupture. Tough as guts!
Took camping, filled it with water, leaked water through a cross threaded bung hole, turned it onto its side and leaked out the cap. Didn't bother bringing it home, dumped it while I was away.
