I bought a few scanpan saucepan products in the coppernox range. I'm always concerned buying things over the internet as you don't know if they're exactly what you want - is the texture, colour, size, or weight right? Thankfully, the coppernox range was what I thought it would be. They have a nice weight, so you know it's going to hold heat well and allow you to cook on low temperature once it's gotten up to a decent heat. Like any of these better quality pots, I discovered that you do have to heat them on a medium heat, then reduce to low to keep the pots in their excellent condition. But that just means I have to think about putting the pot on 5 minutes earlier than I might normally do. So that's no big deal. Happy with my purchase. I love this pan. I can cook a huge amount of pasta with no hassles at all. I never knew cooking pasta could be so easy. I have never had any problems with cleaning it, the food never bakes on. It cooks evenly, so never burning in the middle. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a professional pan. It certainly has improved my confidence in cooking.

The overall quality and look of the pot is excellent, however, it would be better if the pasta strainer sat a little lower into the pot

I know it's a pasta pot but this beauty gets used for all sorts of cooking in my house and it handles everything I throw at it. Love the paste drainer. I use this pot to make my stock and the beauty is I don't have to fish out all the bits or drain it through a sieve, I just lift out the pasta drainer and wella there's my stock waiting to be used. The steamer is used for everything from vegetables, chicken and anything else I need steamed. And then there's pasta, cooked to perfection without random pieces coming out chewy. It's been used a billion times and still holds its shape which I have found a problem in the past. Great service from kitchen warehouse made this purchase a dream.

I'm very pleased with this saucepan set -- it is versatile and I end up using it frequently for various dinners. I usually cook for several people, so I haven't had to adjust the water level for the pasta amount, although I'd probably just use another pot in that case. I bought this pot so I WOULD be able to cook large amounts of pasta, and it works just fine for that. Scanpan always provides good quality pots, and this is no exception.
