seem pretty sharp and well made. Yet to give them a good workout but looking forward to it.I thought they may come apart for cleaning, but it's not the end of the world. The latch is great and doesn't get caught or in the way at all. The handles are Ok

Certainly not "professional"

Quite good for a domestic environment but in a professional kitchen where we cut up 20- 50 cooked chickens per day they lasted 3 days before falling apart and the spring breaking. There are better ones available but these have a good price point for the quality.

Do the job

These poultry shears are the first that I've had which easily cut though chicken bones. I have used them several times to bone chickens and have been surprised at how easy they are to use. I was a bit wary about getting them as one reviewer said that she had problems extending the shears, however I haven't had any problems. I have only used them on uncooked chicken. Recommended+++++

Easy Cutting

I bought the shears to cut the shells off the small lobster tails sold by Woolworths. The shears make this easy and safe. I prefer them to using scissors or a knife. The only problem is that I will have to buy more lobster tails to justify the cost of the shears.

Just Love Scanpan

I have a great deal of scanpan products and I use them every day I just love them. These are the best poultry shears that I have ever used. Makes cutting up the chicken for my cavoodle very easy. Delivery is super quick too only 2 days to Adelaide. Thanks a million!!

Poultry Shears

Comfortable to use. Great feature is that is has clip to keep shears closed when not in use when stored in drawer so you don't cut yourself accidentaly. Have used twice so far, once to cut up chicken wings and 2nd time to cut up dog treats .Great price and quick delivery.

Very happy with these shears

I bought these shears for my husbands birthday for him to cut up the roast chicken. He is very happy with them and says they work very well. They are sharp and do what they are designed to do (so rare nowadays). Only issue I have is they open a little wide for my smaller hand and I can't let them extend the full way. This is no problem for me since they are for my hubby! something to consider for any small handed ladies if they are using them. Great product and would highly recommend.
