These products are of a very high quality and are durable. In my opinion, these are good value which, if taken care of, will last for decades. I am more than happy with these SCANPAN products. Our entire cookware collection is SCANPAN. This is cookware that you can depend on and is very pleasing to the eye.

Best saucepan ever

Great saucepan heats quickly retains its heat. Glass lid so you can see what’s cooking without having to take the lid off. Easy to clean and throw in the dishwasher.

Coppernox 1.8L

This was purchased as an additional pan as I already have the 3 saucepan set which I bought 4 years ago. I found I used the 1.8L more often than not and so decided having another one would be worth the cost. I love these pans as they are a delight to use and to clean afterwards as well. I would be happy to recommend them as they are a quality product. The added bonus is I can purchase them online with KitchenDirect.

Faultless

I wanted to buy a few replacement saucepans as my husband had managed to burn most of our saucepans handles from years on a gas stove. Having a metal handle I knew would solve this dilemma. I was concerned with reviews saying that the pots were really heavy. But as I have loved my cast iron cooking items I figured I'd test them out. I've used all 4 saucepans and yes they're not light but I wouldn't want one any lighter. I think I may have been overly concerned by people who go for a cosmetic look and have forgotten the art of cooking. If you purchase this item I can't see why you'd be anything less than happy.

Fantastic, great quality, very easy to clean. Very versatile, and I can cook a whole packet of pasta. I also bought the double boiler, great for sauces and melting chocolate. It is quite heavy when full, the extra handle is a must. Highly recommended.

Is this the best saucepan ever?

We were after a new 2.5 litre saucepan after the base broke off a cheaper brand we purchased at a kitchenware shop. We have already bought some excellent scanpan kitchen items - knives and a frypna, which have given such excellent service that we'd thought we'd try the saucepan. We have not been disappointed...It is ruggledly constructed but looks slick and modern. The quality of obvious, from the copper base to the beautiful glass lid. We have been using this saucepan every day for the past few months and it still looks like new and performs beautifully. Its actually a pleasure to cook with a product this good.

SPOT ON

I did a TONNE of research and hunting around before deciding on the Coppernox range. They're absolutely superb and just tick every box - the 5-layer base with copper & aluminium cores, the glass lids, the heat-proof handles, fairly lightweight, good for ovens & induction, 10-year guarantee - and they look brilliant! Professional quality and perfectly designed. We couldn’t be happier with them. (Everten are also excellent!)

Terrific Saucepan

This pan is better than I had anticipated. I use an induction stove which only needs a low heat and very rapid response. So with this pan which needs low heat to operate and quick response. Everything is very rapid. Brilliant. I can boil rice on mark 2 normally I would use mark 4 so a 50% save in power but almost 50% save in time too. I would highly reccommend this Brans and style to anyone. Top notch to Kitchenwares Direct too, very efficient service. Thank you

This saucepan is my first excursion into the scanpan coppernox range. I love the copper sandwich base and the quality of the pan itself is excellent. The lid fits well and cleans up neatly (unlike some pans with a central lid handle that's ******* on, so it collects water during washing). I find the silicon-padded handles to be not quite as user-friendly as I had hoped. The handle is very slim, with the result that if you don't have a good grip when you pick up the pan, it feels as though the handle could slip and twist in your hand - especially if the pot is full and heavy. Additionally, the pieces of handle that aren't silicon DO heat up - it's a pity they didn't make the silicon sections as a full wraparound. great little pan

I bought this as a addition to the 3 pan coppernox set thinking it would be really tiny. I was pleasantly surprised to find it is about the same size as the small saucepan in the 3 piece set I was replacing. So glad I added it to my purchase. It looks like it has a matt finish in the picture but in real life it is super shiny, just lovely to look at. A really solid base makes it a joy to cook with. I have been procrastinating about buying these pans for nearly a year now and so happy I finally have.
