This Scanpan CTX 32cm Wok has a 5-ply multi-layer construction of aluminium and stainless steel for optimum heat distribution without hot spots. This wok has to be the best option available for induction cooktops. The 5 ply construction with aluminium surrounded by an outer layer of stainless steel heats both base and sides to get as close to wok her or 'breath of the wok' as possible with induction. The non-stick coating is an additional boon with this well-constructed kitchen utensil.

I've had a high end WOK for many many years but no matter how well I seasoned the WOK before and after use, it always..... always.... had run to get rid of before another use. This Scanpan WOK will be a game changer in our stir fry world. No longer will I have to worry about cleaning of rust before cooking and the weight isn't a heavy as my other WOK. We'll see how it stands up. But as mentioned in previous comments the "exterior" definitely needs Barkeepers friend to keep the oxidization at bay and any drips from cooking on the exterior removed.

Scanpan a great product. An addition to those already owned. A bonus was the packaging; maize foam bullets which dissolved in water. No more trying to collect the polystyrene together to put into bin. Clever move and environmentally friendly.

The wok cooked really well. I was able to make a beautiful dish even as a beginner! The heat cooks things fast yet snow peas were brightly colored and crunchy not soggy as per my usual stir fries in a frying pan. I also bought Grace Young’s Stir Frying to the Sky’s Edge. The pan is excellent however it really is 12.6 inches wide not 12.75.
Christmas present for my Balti-loving son and daughter-in-law who loved it, especially its light weight. They may be moving soon so needed a wok that was suitable for all potential hobs, and this fitted the bill.
I've used woks for years but this product is the best I've ever used. The quality is obvious as soon as you open the parcel. The weight gives away the density of the base which I love and the quality of the workmanship is first rate.
Best overall pan for everything that needs to cook on high or low heat. Cleaning has been easy. Very happy with pan. My consider transitioning all my pans to this manufacturer.
You may think this is an expensive product but is worth every cent. We already had one and bought a second one for our holiday house. We don't like teflon and if you look it up you will see why. The titamium surface on this Scanpan product is tough and brilliant. It works superbly on our induction cooktop with unbelievable even heating right up the sides. We use it almost every day and another bonus is that it is so easy to clean. Nothing sticks. Our family now have them too as do many friends after our rave reviews. Service from Everten OnLine is brilliant. We ordered a Scanpan Knife Block set on the weekend and had it 9am Tuesday.
