I was in the market for a large stainless steel frying pan for the purposes of cooking a whole pack of spaghetti for my family in one pan. This pan had a circumference large enough for my requirements. It was effective from a heat-distribution perspective on an electric glass cooktop; though I think it would be more effective on a gas burner or induction surface. I did not find the pan to be either too heavy nor too light.

The 16cm scanpan frypan has a good weight not to light , well made a good design with even heat distribution . Ideal size for a single person home comfortably fits a chicken breast or three eggs . I added a glass lid ,bought separately. A joy to use .

We had other scanpan and love them all. We recently added the 24cm and find it perfect for shallow frying or sautéing small amount of food, e.g. meals for one or two people. And because it is small it’s lighter and easy to handle and wash. Love it.

Great purchase (20cm and 28cm) good quality and once you learn how to cook with stainless steel (cooking temps) it is relatively non stick. Great for steaks and giving a nice crisp surface to any meat or seafood. Certainly will elevate thr flavours of your food compared to non stick.If you season it willl be even
I was a bit sceptical about buying a steel pan with how much hassle I would have with food sticking to it. However, following the instructions provided, it is a hassle-free and most importantly, sticky-free experience. I opted for this over a cast iron as I wanted to move away from non-stick coatings and use a single pan for just about everything, whereas cast iron has some restrictions for some food types that can be used in it and seemed to have additional care instructions that I know I won't follow properly. Overall, this pan is easy to use and easy to clean, making it super versatile and a pleasure to cook with.
I didn't realise they they were NON stick. The pan burns quickly and leaves it hard to clean. For the price I thought it would be much better quality. When buying again I will buy NON stick. Great weight pan, strong handles.
Not even worth the 1 star. Terrible customer service. They have no idea about the products they sell so they do not provide the right use instructions. The pan started sticking from first use. I wrote that I would like a refund and that the pan is sticking. Then they asked for photos to prove that the food is sticking which they claimed to show to manufacturers. Then they came up with an excuse that they can not refund a product that has been used ( they asked me to use it) and apparently the manufacturer has said that it was my fault for over heating the pan! How can they say this from pictures? I have been cooking for years. I am disgusted with this company, making it convenient to cheat money out of customers for terrible product. A quality frypan at an affordable price. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's printed brochure when heating the pan and oil, and your food will not stick. Cleanup is very easy too - dishwashing liquid and a blue Scotchbrite pad are all that is needed. The 26cm frypan compliments my Scanpan chef's pan which is about six years old and is performing flawlessly after lots of regular use.

The quality of the pan is quite easily top notch for it being Scanpan. I was ready to swtich from teflon coated non stick pans to a stainless steel pan because it is healthier and lasts longer. It took me a little while to get the knack of using stainless pan like a non stick pan. Since I mastered how to use it, I absolutely love using it. This pan does not have a seam at the bottom which makes it looks better and easier to clean. I am also pleased by the service from the seller. Delivery was quiker than as I was told initially. Most impressively, the package was protected by corn made foams, which I was able to dissolve all of them with running water in my sink, so no bulky waste and ecological. I like it when sellers pays attention to this kind of nice little details.
