Excellent design & simple to use. Have cooked various meats, vegetables and an Italian polenta cake. Glad I chose 8 litre capacity as it provides more versatility. This is my first choice cooking method from now on. As always, excellent service from kitchen warehouse.

I ordered this unit on a Friday evening and it was on my doorstep in Far Nth Qld on the following Wednesday! The unit itself has been very easy to use and handle. Its proven to be quite versatile as a heavy duty saucepan with a glass lid (sold separately). Im extremely pleased with this purchase

When my old pressure cooker seal wore out, and I was unable to source a replacement I decided to go with Scanpan, a name that I have grown to know and trust. I love my other Scanpan items. The Pressure cooker is very easy to use, open and close, and is a good size. In winter it is in use almost every day for soups, stews and delicious casseroles. Beef Cheeks tonight!
Excellent build quality as expected from Scanpan. If I had to fault this particular pressure cooker I'd say that it's the not the easiest to rid the silicone gasket of food smells. Also, once the cooker reaches the 'low level' pressure, I found it impossible to maintain the pressure at that level by turning the heat way down.
First Pressure cooker I have had. Used successfully twice then made a rookie error and bought up to high pressure too quickly and the valve stuck, so the cookers safety mechanisms kicked in and it wouldn't seal. kitchen warehouse and Scanpan support were fabulous - all fixed now and enjoying my pressure cooker. fabulous meals.
I recently purchased the above pressure cooker Scanpan from Kitchenware Direct. it was a 6 litre, 22 cms. I have since used this cooker and am extremely satified with the product and the shipping and handling by kitchen warehouse very professional service. I would recommend this product and also kitchen warehouse. Very satisfied.
Delivery was prompt and quick. The pressure cooker operates as specified and is easy to use. Instructions are clear and easy to understand. Pressure indicator is easy to understand. I have cooked heaps of recipes all ready including lamb shanks which were cooked to perfection.
Had to purchase a new pressure cooker as rubber seal no longer available for my 40 yr old prestige. This one is much lighter (steel) and easier to clean and just as simple to operate. I like the simple twist to open and it cooks perfectly. Central pop up rings to indicate pressure better than a pressure weight put on an open vent. Easy to cool and drop pressure before opening.
Great pressure cooker, very thick base, very strong feel, Slighty hard to remove the lid because there is no lever to turn but turns you meat super tender. The depth of the Pressure cooker is great, about 13cm. The delivery was fast and very secure came in an outer box, then the main box on the inside. Inside the pressure cooker is drainer pick a upper, i guess its to place your food on.
