Scanpan Pro IQ Fry Pan Set - 2 Piece

Very impressed with the quick delivery timeframe and packaging, with wrapping and card. I have only had the product a short time but have used it daily. I have had no issue with any food sticking, the heat distribution throughout the pan ensures that food (no matter where in the pan) is cooked consistently across the entire pan surface. Cleaning up is a breeze, a wipe and a rinse and good as new. Would recommend this product.

Browns, and if you're not careful, burns!

If you're not careful, this burns stuff! This acts quite differently to other non sticks - it's good if you want some browning but it definitely needs some watching so as not to end up burning things.

Good purchase

I’ve tried many nonstick skillets over the years (Calphalon, Zwilling, etc) and they always disappoint after several months. And scratch. I’ve only had the Scanpans for 3 months but see no degradation in performance (sticking) and supposedly you can use metal utensils but I want to avoid that. I never need oil for eggs, I found that ensuring the pan is evenly heated before adding eggs is the trick. They. cost more than the other pans purchased but you get what you pay for and they are worth it.

Great pans but one thing is strange.

We have enjoyed the ease with how it cleans. It cooks evenly and we use them as our go to pans. The bottom of the pan becomes discolored easily though, brownish in areas. I thought that was strange and not a great feature.

I have always purchased other nonstick brands but they have never been that good. I was in the Costa Mesa store a few weeks ago and one of the ladies suggested the Scanpan set. I'm the kind of person that needs to go and read reviews before I'll commit though so I went home and read up on the brand etc. These pans are so good! I'm curious how long they will last (since nonstick doesn't last that long) but I have high hopes. I just purchased the larger size so that I have a bit bigger of a nonstick when I make french toast. I'm really happy and thanks to the employee who sent me in this direction.

Nonstick is best I have tried in a while

I have gone through many different brands of nonstick and honestly this is the best I have tried. I originally just had the set of 2 but after using them everyday for weeks without scratches or fading of nonstick I purchased more of them. I do NOT recommend ever putting your high quality pots/pans in the dishwasher ever. I actually just clean them out with hot water as soon as they have cooled enough and they are still working like they did on the first day. I have one I use for omelets every day for over 3 years and still works perfect. I am now sending a set to my in-laws at their request since they fell in love with them while staying with us.

PRO IQ 2-Piece Fry Pan Set

After trying several other brands of non-stick frying pans that didn't last very long, my sister swore by her Scan Pan pans! I decided to give them a try. Some refried beans burned onto one pan, but the cleaning instructions on the website were super helpful and worked well. The pan seems none the worse for the experience and continues to be non-stick now. So far, I'm very happy with the pans on my new induction cooktop.

PRO S+ 2-Piece Fry Pan Set

I purchased the PRO S+ 2-piece fry pan set for myself a couple of years ago and loved them so much that I offered them as a housewarming gift to a relative. I know they will like them as much as I do. Excellent quality without the worry of teflon. So easy to clean, sturdy, and the handle does not get hot. They take a little while to heat up, but if you are impatient, you might pay a bit extra for the stainless steel model for faster heat transfer.

don't wash in dishwasher

I have been wanting to try Scanpans for years. These have a lovely heft, gorgeous design, and atruly nonstick inner finish. That's where the good ends. And unfortunately the bad outweighs the good. One of the reasons I bought these was that the description says that they are dishwasher-safe. While it may be safe, it's a complete mess. The bottom of the pans oxidize in the heat cycle of the dishwasher and when you take them out, they have black powder on the bottom of the pan that gets everywhere. You then have to use a scrubby sponge to try to remove it but you can never get all of it off. You have to dry the bottom of the pans with a paper towel or your dishtowels will get the black crud all over them.
