Scarpa Drago LV Climbing shoes-34

(167 reviews)

The category standard for competition climbing, Drago LV is the ultimate shoe for three dimensional climbing and a perfect choice for constant-motion sequences and dynamic transitions. SRT (Surround Rubber Tension) construction provides a compressive, glove-like fit and extended high performance rubber coverage throughout the shoe, making the Drago a near perfect weapon for hooking and compression. A seven panel, complex upper construction with foot mapped stitch lines, gives unparalleled contouring of the foot. This also provides controlled stretch, throughout the lifespan of the shoe, and zero hot spots. The 1mm Micro Flexan midsole holds toe point precision and partners perfectly with â…“ Vibram XS-Grip2 outsole, to give world-leading friction and sensitivity across a range of angles and footholds. The LV (low volume) version of the Drago also features our PAF (Power Absorbing Fit) heel system. This improves comfort (by dispersing pressure) and also extends heel hooking range, thanks to the XS Grip2 spine profiling all the way up the achilles. The Drago LV is the narrowest, low volume model in the SCARPA climbing range. The competition climbing shoe par excellence.

I wasn't sure how these shoes were going to feel as I was coming up from Scarpa Arpias. These shoes are even more comfortable than the Arpias and the sizing is perfect. The rubber is sticky and I had no issues with climbing in them on my 1st session, without them being broken in yet. These shoes mean more to me than just shoes. These were a gift to myself after sending my 1st 5.12a (7a+) in my local gym and a stepping stone into a new chapter of my life and passion for climbing. I am so happy with these and I will continue to climb in Drago LV's for the remainder of my (still very new) climbing career.

Fits like a glove for me. Normal Drago's were loose around my heel, these are a much better fit for my feet.Using them 2 times a week now for 4 months, they seem to last okay!

Excellent performance

Insanely good climbing shoes says my 13yr old daughter! She had the original Drago before these & i then read about the new cut (narrow heel, less fabric on top) & as we live in New Zealand I crossed my fingers they would live up to the reviews. They did! And the service from Rock+Run was just as good.

Same as regular Dragos

I haven’t really noticed much difference to the regular Drago. The heel is still a little baggy, possibly slightly less so. Both are great shoes

They’ve stretched loads and the upper has started yellowing, only used them twice! Bit disappointed

Excellent shoe. Heel fit me a lot better than the original Drago.
