Schick Hydro Silk 5 Sensitive Care Women's Razor Blade Refills, 4 CT

For years I’d used a Gillette mens razor- because there were more blades and it seemed to work better than any product on the market for women. Fast forward and when I found this - 5 bladed beauty, I knew I had to try it. It doesn’t disappoint, it’s contoured for legs and not a face, so bonus points for giving a close shave and being ergonomically inclined for me. I also have sensitive skin and shaving used to give me irritation, but jot with this. This is the only razor I use now and it’s worth it!

I probably didn't explain that very well, but again it probably doesn't matter much since most interested in these blades will be men and not shaving their bikin

Awful shave BECAUSE of new blade

I switched from Gillette to Schick years ago because of how much better the shave was. I bought a box of new refills about a month ago that I recently opened. The shave was horrible with the first razor head refill and I chalked it up to just a bad refill. No big deal. My next shave I opened a brandnew refill head and it was the same way. My legs feel like I shaved without water and soap and now have razor burn. The shave wasn't even smooth like it once was. More like rough and riggeddy. Usually I get several uses from one refill; i barely got through a single use. Iam really disappointed and feel I have just wasted money on something that is quite expensive but was worth it in my opinion. Best Razor

I have very thin, sensitive skin, and am extremely prone to razor burn and nicks. I also have very thick dark hair. This is the only razor that leaves me smooth and doesn’t give me razor burn. It far out performs Venus. With extrbucks and coupons, I find the best deals on them here at CVS too.

Gets the job done well.

I switched to these a few years ago. I like the handle, the versatility, and how many handle options there are. I don’t use the trimmer much, but I like the bulk of that handle a lot. I agree, the blades can dull a bit, but I only shave my legs a few times a week. They seem to last long enough for me. I use shave gel, perhaps that also helps too. I would recommend. I do not see myself changing from these. I have literally tried so many other options, this one I have stuck with. I do like the razor/gel combo devices and the double razors that you basically use in a scrubbing motion as there are blades facing both directions, those do work the absolute best for me, but I think those were rather pricey.

Hydro Silk 5 Moisture Care Refills

Hydro Silk® 5 Moisture Care blades are by far the best razors I've ever used. Smooth enough for women. Tough enough for men.My grown children request these as stocking stuffers every Christmas. As well as my teen grandchildren. Speaks volumes.

Hydro Silk TrimStyle Razor and Bikini trimmer

I received the new TrimStyle razor / bikini trimmer combo free from the Beauty Crazed blog to review.Honestly it isn't a product I would usually even pick up in a store and check out, as I'm a budget beauty kind of gal and have stuck to disposable razors and 'borrowing' my husbands detail trimmer for grooming my 'lady bits'. But I'm impressed! The blade comes with 'unique skin guards' and moisturizing serum that can be a bit slick when wet but I assume it will wear off with more use. I do find a 5 blade head too large for me to getting a good underarm shave though.The bikini trimmer has a removable and adjustable trim comb but I personally found taking the comb right off got me the clean edges I prefer. The small head looks ideal for other uses on the body - grooming arm hair, facial and neck hair - wherever you like! And just rinse the trimmer clean in the shower or in the sink. The on/off button is a trick though. If you just push it in the trimmer turns off when you release it - you have to give it a push and slide up to get the trimmer to run continuously. .Overall I think this a very convenient, effective product and the waterproof trimmer makes it a great value!

Left me with terrible razor burn

I have very sensitive legs, and this has been my go-to razor for more than 10 years. Unfortunately I’ve has the same experience as the other reviewers. There has been a change in the refills that has left me with terrible razor burn. The gel piece smears off easily and the blades seem to dull extremely quickly. It feels like using a cheap disposable razor so I am forced find something new.

Quality is garbage

These were my favorite razors to use, but now the quality is garbage. The second it gets wet and touches your skin it leaves a thick, snot-like substance on you that is hard to wash off. They dull very easily, and don’t shave as closely as they used to. I don’t know why they changed such a great product, but these are not worth buying now. Don’t waste your money

Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle Razor

I received the Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle Razor and bikini trimmer to test from a blog promotion. This combo razor is a little thicker in the handle but I still found it comfortable in my hands. It has a rubberized handle which makes it easy to hold in the shower. I really enjoyed using the Hydro Silk razor end of this product. The razor hugged my skin and created silky smooth skin on my legs. I liked the addition of the moisture bars on this razor but did find the shave more comfortable with the addition of a shave gel. The 5 blades on this razor catch every hair so you don't have to go over every area multiple times.I have never used a bikini trimmer so this device on the other end of the razor was a new experience for me. I liked that this whole device was waterproof so I could use the trimmer in the shower. I liked the plastic comb over the trimmer so I could customize the length I wanted. I ended up removing the plastic comb so I could get the closest trim possible. I was hoping for a hair free shave in the bikini area but this is a trimmer and I found it doesn't get to the base of the hair and leaves some behind. Nonetheless bikini shaving with a razor after using the trimmer is possible to get the results I want. While the combined razor and bikini trimmer is a convenient product, I would prefer these tools to be separate as I won't use the trimmer nearly as much as the razor.Overall, I enjoyed using this TrimStyle razor and would continue to use it and recommend it to others.
