They are a good brand, my dog didnt really take to them. She prefers softer types of treats.She came back to it every now and then but i would say it something she didnt really like i guess every pet is different and has their own preference.

As soon as I pulled out this treat, my baby was already sitting and holding his paw up for it. He's a very picky eater, but he LOVES schmackos. He usually likes to take his time with his dog treats, but he wasted absolutely no time in chomping down on this one. Definitely give this treat a go!

My dog is a large breed and a powerful chewer. She wanted to save this treat for later because she obviously loved it. Even though she's a large breed, it lasted quite a long time compared to other treats I've given her and gives her a bit of a workout to get through it. They are very convenient in single packets so you know their fresh and sealed, and beef is my dogs favourite meat and her eyes lit up when she saw it. Very happy pup with this product.

Nicely presented. Decent sized treat with a thick cylinder of rawhide.Initially thought it would last a while. Boy I was wrong! Having a persistent and dedicated chewer at home, the treat disappeared in a couple minutes! Keep this in mind if you have a heavy chewer like us. I'm saying that she obviously enjoyed it! Would buy again.
As soon as I opened the Schmakos Chomp N' Chew packaging, my dog was instantly intrigued with the item I held in my hand. A quick whiff of the product and my dog couldn't wait to try the tasty snack. He was at the door to be let outside to finish this new treat, it wasn't long before he was finished and looking for more.
Broke this in half for my 2 canines, which was no easy feat and required a saw like knife! As soon a they were opened my medium mixed breed just came and sat at my feet starting at me!! When i offered them their great, i got a handshake from one and my other, a malamute talked for hers! The dogs went to separate turf with them and immediately began trying to devour them!!It took my malamute a good 5 to 10 minutes to get through her half zone which is brilliant as she can shed a basketball in 10 seconds, and it took my mixed breed about 15 to 20 i guess they left none!! I'd say that was a hit!!
I gave the Chomp N Chew to my golden retriever. Arlo sat there and chewed and chomped his way through it over the next 30 minutes. It kept him entertained and content for that whole time. I have bought him another one since and he enjoyed that too.It is a good size to keep him engaged for a bit and difficult to just gulp down, he is a retriever after all.
We have an 11 year old Great Dane cross Mastiff so as you can imagine he is a big boy. Buying treats for him can sometimes be a struggle as most seem to be aimed at smaller dog breeds. However the Shmackos Chomp & Chew Large was a great size for him. He absolutely loved it and managed to devour the whole thing in under 5 minutes, then proceeded to lick up any crumbs he may have missed.
Apollo absolutely loved the Chomp N' Chew !He was overcome with excitement and good behaviour.Once he had the chew in his grip the joy on his face was so clear.Very comforting for him.
This is a great product for large dogs, mine is an Irish Wolfhound, as it is large and harder than other chews. This is the first time Tilly has had one of these and at first she was puzzled as she thought it was a dental chew, (her usual treat)but after a few exploratory licks she seemed to really enjoy biting into it and didn't move until it was all gone.
