Delivery was unbelievable fast, that's where the praise will end. Once powered up the internal fan sounded like a jet engine starting up and remains noisy while in operation, then after 2 days on noticed temperature was not being achieved. Took some readings and noticed it was only getting to 13-14 Degs C not the required 3 Degs indicated (see image). The unit turns on ever 10-11 minutes which is unusual, checked door seals and other items in manual and everything else seems to be in order. Clearly defective out of the box. Contacted appliancesonline.com.au support and they asked me to book a service all - 2 days now with no answer. I hope they don't expect to repair this on site. I ordered a new fridge, that's what i expect to receive.

Fantastic outdoor fridge! Keeps everything inside super cold regardless of the (QLD) heat and humidity around us. Super quiet running. The turbo & party modes quickly chill all contents down to -5 degrees then regulates the temperature. Beautiful design as well. We could not be happier!!

I bought a few weeks ago. I read a few reviews saying it was noisy which i was worried about but have no complaints. Very quiet. Fan kicks in to regulate temperature. I have found i needed to drop the temperature to 2 degrees which keeps beer around 4 which is no big deal. Very happy so far with my choice.

Yes very cold but very noisy in our kitchen. Also the door often is left open as it can’t just be tapped shut, needs to be closed properly and hit shut. Maybe needs stronger magnets or something.
We purchased this bar fridge as it fits into the space perfectly and reviews were good.Unfortunately we need to speak to someone about either replacement or refund as this fridge runs to hot that you cannot physically touch the sides or top.The bench top in or kitchen is stone and the heat comes through the stone and is also hot to touch.Well ventilated space as per specs and is inside out home, I’m actually worried this will catch on fire when we are not home.Pretty disappointed as looks great but there has to be something wrong to be so hot.Can you please get in touch and let me know what options we have?
1 Month old and working great. About as loud as our kitchen fridge. It is under a covered porch and out of direct sun. Wollongong area so it still gets hot but so far no fogging up the glass door. Turbo function is a great feature, cools quite rapidly. Haven't tried party mode (6 hrs constant cooling). Stay tuned..
After much research went with the Schlick tropical rated out door model ( Nth Qld resident) Was most concerned about condensation issues and the fridges ability to keep drinks really cold. So far this model has been fantastic on both counts and very happy with purchase. Only minor issues were a slight dent on top metal cover but fridge will be located in built in cabaret so no drama. Also like the adjustable sliding shelves which allow for storage of tall bottles.Would recommend if no condensation and icy cold drinks are important.More expensive models may include a door lock but not important for us.

Schmick HUS-EX108 - Alfresco Under Zero Australia's Coldest Beer Party Fridge with Blast Chill Mode
This beverage centre is designed for those who prefer their beer and soft drinks ice-cold to beat the heat for blistering summer days. You can set your preferred temperature with the easy-to-use touch control. You can keep your beverages super cold with a below zero setting. Set it on party mode when you are hosting guests, which sets the temperature at minus five degrees to keep drinks ready to serve even when the door is frequently opened. The turbo mode lets you quickly chill your beverages for when you are short on time. The heated glass door prevents condensation so you can easily keep an eye on your stock levels. It is not recommended to expose glass door fridges to direct sunlight, as it can significantly increase the internal temperature. However, if the fridge is placed in an area with secondary sunlight or under a clear UV blind shade or roof, it may handle short periods of exposure.
