I found that this product made a great alternative to dry shampoo, adding volume from your roots-level - that much needed oomph effect. I received this product from the Product Review Club and was glad to be able to try it as I always love a volumized hair style. I found this product easy to apply: simply shake into hand, rub together, and rub through roots of hair. The product did not have any scent, which could either be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on preference. I enjoy scented products, but also found this to not irritate my sensitive scalp, so I appreciate it being unscented. I could immediately see volume in my roots when applied, and I did not need much product to see results. Therefore, I can say a little product goes a long way. I had to gently brush my hair near the roots to smooth the stray hairs after rubbing in the product but the volume was still in tact. Throughout the day my hair remained volumized. Would recommend.

I was excited to try this product, as I recalled having a hairstylist use something similar on a bridesmaid hairstyle I sported a few years ago. This styling product was a bit different in that it was in a talc-like, powder form, very similar to dry shampoo powder, like Lush's No Drought. Thankfully and despite my brown hair, this product didn't appear white once it was totally mixed in. I did have some difficulty applying it in the manner the packaging recommended- it may be that my hands were too moist, but I found more of the powder stuck to my palms than actually made it in to my hair. Similar to dry shampoo powder, this may be best applied by shaking a bit directly to the roots. In terms of lift, I did notice a bit of a difference but nothing dramatic. I used the got2b Powder'ful Volumizing Powder to give my hair a little bit of lift, curled it, then hairsprayed it. I will preface this review by saying that this product has a little bit of a learning curve. I have used a similar product, the Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-Powder for many years now and this product is very similar to that. The got2b powder needs to be applied directly to your roots (don't put it in your hands first despite what the instructions say!) and you need to part/section you hair to get maximum lift. Brilliant lasting hold

I started with a powder used by my hairdresser. It was very expensive as salon products usually are so I looked around for alternatives available in shops. I've tried several and this is the business. I like a messy look and this gives me it in spades. As my hair grew during the first lockdown, I marvelled as it continued to do its business and keep my flat hair lively. I now get my hair cut less often - basically, when it defeats this product, it's time for a haircut. I couldn't find it recently and tried the vegan alternative - nothing like as good so releived to find this is still available.

2 years after growing my hair out from buzz cut to long Bob, my hair was in brilliant condition - soft and shiny and lightweight. A friend of mine recommended this to me as I hated using hairspray to give my hair volume because it always made it look slimy but it felt crispy. I used this once two days after washing my hair to give it a bit of life in hopes that I could leave my hair unwashed for a few more days. A week later and my hair was like straw and puffed out like a birds nest. I kept it in a bun and didn't wash it for a week until I finally decided that I had to try and get this product out of my hair because brushing it wasn't working and the natural grease of my hair wasn't coming through to get it out. After leaving my hair oiled up for a week, i washed it again, deep conditioning it and let it naturally dry. I'm now crying over the fact that my hair is still dead and damaged and nothing I have tried (hair mask, oils, deep conditioning, leaving my hair to get really greasy) has helped reverse the affect of this awful product! I would have ran to the hairdressers to get 3inches chopped off to help give my hair a chance of recovery but as all hairdressers are closed, I have to wait and use home remedies to try and control the damage. I threw out the product immediately and am now having to spend lots of money to try and sort out the mess it left it in :(

Great for fine hair.

Bought this after hairdresser recommended it for my fine hair. This product takes a bit of getting used to but once it’s in, my hair looks thicker holds it’s style and my fringe stays put. Use a little all over parting area on scalp and tease in with finger tips(feels odd at first) the results are great hair stays put. Lightly brush after to neaten. No need for hairspray. I love this and yes it makes your hair feel a bit tacky but I’m not feeling my roots all day but I am loving the volume all day.

Honestly the worst product I have ever used on my

I got this as a gift for Christmas and was excited to try it out, looking back now I can easily say I was let down. The powder is reminiscent of cornflour with its texture, it leaves a strange sticky residue (even though it is a dry powder) on everything it touches. It does. Or add volume to the hair it adds a strange residue that will ruin the both appearance of your freshly washed hair and the texture of it. It makes your hair stick together in its mockery of volume and makes you look as though you have just used gorilla glue as a hair product. I can not stress how utterly terrible this product is!

I am never without this volumizing powder!

I have very fine hair. It's also very straight and there isn't a lot of it. BUT, everyone thinks I have tons of hair with lots of volume until I tell them the difference. The main tools in my arsenal? A root lifting spray, a ceramic-barrel brush to use as I blow dry my hair, and this powder volumizer. This Got2Be powder is the best I've found and I've tried salon formulas and every similar product you can find in a drugstore. This one is also the best price. You only need a tiny amount so this bottle will probably last you several months. I don't do anything fancy to make it work...I just simply part my hair where I want more volume and carefully tap the bottle above the area until a small amount is sprinkled on my hair/part. It literally takes less than 10 seconds to volumize each area. Way faster than teasing your hair and much, much less damage to the hair. This stuff is like gold to me. I always have a bottle on the go with one or two backups. If you have limp, lifeless hair that looks thin and lacks body and volume, do yourself a favour and get yourself a bottle of this stuff, you'll he so thankful you did! I highly recommend!!

Miracle product, safe and effective. Get it.

I'm going to order more right away. I got this for everyday and for camping. I didn't want my hair dirty looking while I was camping and hiking. I tested it right away. I'm on day 3 and my hair has no greasy look at all. It has volume and I would actually be fine with going out like this. Keep in mind I'm extremely picky about how my hair looks. If it at all looks dirty I will wash it before leaving. So a day three is unheard of. I also suspect because of the ingredients being almost exactly like silicon dioxide, a food safe product that also kills bugs because it drys them instantly (cimexa and it works) and the way it feels very drying on my hands, that lice, fleas, and ticks wouldn't last more than a minute if they tried to get to you with this product in your ... MoreI'm going to order more right away.
