Acceptable for the price but face shield is not up to expectations

I hate the shield change. Broke the dark smoke shield removing it the second time I did. Now I unscrew the covers like it's 2000 helmet technology. Looks cool and is light. Comfort is acceptable for the price. Bottom line I would not buy it again. Also took Scorpion over 5 weeks to reply to a warranty request. A reply that noted it was likely handling and they only offered a replacement as a courtesy for the slow reply.

Awesome looks, questionable longevity.

Looks amazing, but the white paint is already starting to chip off in places from regular use, which stands out significantly on that paintjob. Also, the chin bar makes this helmet a little long front to back, which can make it hard to fit in top cases that otherwise claim to fit full face helmets. The ventilation is excellent on this helmet for how quiet it is, and the smoked visor is not so dark as to be very dangerous at night. The face shield is nicely sized for being able to see all around you, though there are some weird edges all the way around the top and bottom that distort the light in a way that can be distracting until you get used to it.

Good first helmet. First time rider and wasn't sure what to expect from a full face helmet. Used a soft tape to measure and I was a size M but this was too tight on my face, couldn't get my glasses on. Sent it back and got a size L and it's good. I'm in Texas so it's very hot in summer. Ventilation isn't great with eye shield closed but if i crack it open just a little the air is good. Added Bluetooth but now my ears fold down if I don't hold them when putting on the helmet (tricky). Weight is good. Overall a good helmet for full face and I would buy it again. I recommend it.

Happy w Purchase
8 August 2023

Happy with my purchase. Very quality helmet. I couldn't make the visor fog if I tried. You need to loosen a phillips-head screw to change visors, but it's easy and quick. Helmet is light and quiet.I was between two sizes. I sized down. I was worried too tight at first, but after breaking in it is perfect. One thing keeping it from 5 stars: I rode at night with the clear visor and, probably because of the anti-fog, there was a very faint hallow around bright lights. It was a very slight triple vision. Not a huge issue for me though.

Nice helmet, horrible system.
8 August 2024

I bought this helmet about a year ago, its really nice when it comes to Looks, weight and initial price. But unfortunately, the shield changing system is so bad that it will add to the cost.not only will you need to carry one of those glasses cleaning cloths to constantly clean it when you change the shield because there is almost no way to not leave your fingerprints everywhere on the shield when you change them, but every single time you switch the shield you risk 50% of breaking it. in a year of riding so far I already had to buy two more shields because the ends that clip in to the helmet cracked and render the shield useless.Still the helmet is really lightweight, shell sizes are very nice and its not huge and it looks really nice. Not for me.

It's a nice lookin helmet and price point is acceptable, but I ended up returning it and getting a shoei rf-sr for 2 reasons.1 is, I went from a sedici sistema 2 which is a modular helmet around the same price point ( great helmet, I had a minor fall while wearing the helmet and decided to replace it) but I wanted something a little smaller profile so head checks were easier and I didn't hit my shoulders every time I turned my head. This helmet even though it's a standard full face was around the same size profile as my previous modular.2 and more importantly, I have to wear prescription glasses and this helmet is not glasses friendly. Which in time going down the road I felt would be a problem and probably make me dizzy.I gave it 3 stars cause it probably would make a nice helmet for someone, just not for me.

Still no Pinlock restock
16 August 2024

I really like this helmet but I have some gripes. Why the heck has the public ready clear face shield been out of stock since launch? Is the manufacturer just never going to stock it again?I don't know about you but Easy Release, Schmeazy Release, I don't want to carry two face shields. I want one shield that does it all. What that means is, no tint, and I need pinlock. Thus far I have gotten by on some stick on plastic "Pinlock" things, but I'd rather not have to when the company, /SUPPOSEDLY/, sells them!

The helmet has an excellent paint job and is great at high-speed. As far as aerodynamics are concerned, there is no bubblehead. Also, if you wish to install a communication device, it's very easy because the helmet interior already has the grooves and air speaker spaces cut out for you so that's very nice. The only negative that I found in the helmet, especially after such a great price point, was the fact that the face shield does not offer pin lock shields, which are great to put in ins Ertz that are transition which makes the helmet ready to ride at night or during the day without having to change shields. They should probably step up but other than that at this price point I really have no major complaints. It's a great starter helmet for someone as well.

The First and Last Helmet I'll Ever Need.
16 August 2023

Beginner rider, I bought this as my first ever helmet a few months ago, have been nothing but happy with it since. It pretty much covered all my needs: White color, full face, ECE 22.06 certified, and in the $200 - $400 price range. Plus I like how it looks like a cross between a dirt bike helmet with a street bike helmet. Can't speak to the safety features (and hopefully I won't get the chance to), but if it's ECE 22.06 then it's pretty much as safe as any helmet can be right now. It's light on my head, and comfortable enough to wear for an hour long commute to work without seeing red marks on my face after taking it off. I originally didn't realize it had speaker pockets, but I plan to install some universal speakers as soon as I can. I originally didn't realize it had speaker pockets, but I plan to install some universal speakers as soon as I can. That being said I can fit some Bluetooth earbuds under the helmet without any problems. Some are more troublesome, it depends on how slim the earbud is.The two included visors cover both bright days and low visibility darkness, perfect for me riding to work at 5:45 AM and back home at 3 PM when the sun is at its brightest. The tool-less visor changing process is relatively painless, you might have to fickle with the visor a bit to pop it into place, but I haven't broken anything yet no matter how forceful I am with it.My only complaint is that the vents can stand to be enlarged for summer riding, particularly up on the top of the helmet, but even on the hottest days of the year so far (heat index of over 100F) I haven't found it to be unbearable. The helmet liner does a great job of either absorbing or wicking sweat away before it can drip down my face. I haven't tried cold weather riding yet, but I can imagine there's worse helmets out there when it comes to shutting out the wind.I'm so satisfied with everything that I have no qualms about calling this the perfect helmet for me. Great price, doesn't do everything a $1,000 helmet does, but the few things it does, it does them all with no complaints. I don't plan on buying any other helmets besides this one in the future, if I can help it.

Absolutely loving this helmet so far. very lightweight, but constructed very well. looks like a better version of a simpson ghost bandit without being garbage simpson quality and half the price. Its fairly quiet even at high speeds. fits true to size, and the cheek pads are very comfortable. i rode through very heavy rain and the shield didnt fog at all and no water got in. my only gripe with this helmet is there isnt a whole lot of ventilation and its hard to fit a pair of sunglasses in. other than that im very happy with it. the large speaker pockets are great too, fit my cardo packtalk black perfectly. definitely well worth $250. I prefer this helmet over my $600 shoei all day.
