Hi, unless there's a special need for matte finish on a glossy gift wrap or something else (it will be useless if the wrapper surface is matte, not even the Gift Wrap version will be invisible), skip this tape version, this Magic Tape, it's not that invisible and it's too fragile. I think this is the best wrapping tape I could have used for this season. It's transparent in just the right ways. It effortlessly glides along. I would prefer to utilize a tape dispenser rather than disposable tape. It is significantly more convenient. The pieces of tape dispense much more accurately. Don't have to worry about holding it with two hands. If you don't have a tape dispenser, I would immediately think twice.

I ordered online for store pickup. Still need to go in and wait in line for pickup and it took 3 days despite tape normally in stock. Also the “order” was in a huge box compared to the size of three rolls of tape. I said to the clerk “ are you sure this is my order?” He asked if I wanted hom to open it and I said yes because it didn’t feel like the item. Upon opening discovered it was a $32 dayplanner. Not tape at all and value 3x what I ordered. I am sure who ever ordered that would not have been happy gad they ended up with my tape. He found the box that did have the tape based on guessing by shaking the boxes but there needs to be better qc. It is 10 miles rt to my nearest Staples. Would not have been happy if I had to come back because of not realizing before I ... MoreI ordered online for store pickup. I love this tape. It's quality hasn't changed and I do also love Sctcch two-sided tape. Back in the day people....well women always would admire the wrapping of packages and presents by other women. I remember one woman, before the dawn of 2-sided tape was always hailed as the person who could wrap packages with the smallest pieces of tape you could barely see them. Truth was I don'e ever recall seeing where she taped the boxes. It was like Chinese puzzle boxes made out of paper and ribbons. No idea how they are put together. But that was the goal in all packaging and wraping. Hide the tape. For fumbling fingers this stuff is a Godsend. That reminds me. I am also out of 2-sided tape
I keep getting asked to review this product. It’s exactly what you would expect from standard Scotch tape: sticky on one side, not sticky on the other. You can use it to make Barbie doll clothes out of paper towels and tape. But beware! If you use Scotch tape on your kitchen counter, it’s very hard to remove. Use masking tape on your kitchen counter instead. I don’t think this tape is the right thing for repairing a jack o’lantern that your kid tripped over and cracked. Duct tape is a better choice for that situation. Lately, I’ve been using Scotch tape for assembling pdf sewing patterns. It’s great for sticking paper together, and the desktop tape dispenser also makes a great paperweight.
These Scotch Magic Tape Refills are my go-to during the Holiday Season. Easy to open and pop into my dispenser and last for a pretty long time. I use these all year round, but not as often as I due during Christmas time. So happy Walmart carries this brand and type of tape. Have bought many over the years and will continue to do so, either by mail/on-line or in store. THANKS Walmart
When I purchased my Scotch Magic Tape at the Staples in mid-town NYC, I inadvertently left my cell phone by the cash register.I was about a half-block from the store when I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was a salesperson from Staples who ran after me with my cell phone in hand. I could not have been more grateful. That is true customer service! And, the Scotch Magic Tape, sticks very well.
Ah, the Scotch Magic Invisible Tape. The unsung hero of office supplies, right? I mean, what could be more thrilling than a roll of invisible tape that’s practically magic—except, you know, it’s tape. It's the kind of invisible that would make you question your sanity if you didn’t already know you stuck it there. Just look at that alluring 3/4" width! The exact girth every discerning tape aficionado craves. And a whopping 27.77 yards per roll! Why not round it to 28? Because the makers at Scotch know that every inch counts in the riveting world of transparent adhesive products. You get 12 rolls in a pack, so yes, that’s enough tape to handle all those life-altering tasks like resealing torn paper or attaching Post-its with a tiny tear. But wait, it’s “Magic.” ... MoreAh, the Scotch Magic Invisible Tape. So go ahead—stick it on your next important document. It’s there…you just can’t see it. But isn't that what we’ve all been dreaming of?
I have been requested by Staples to provide a review of Scotch tape. Yes, they seriously asked me to provide a review of a product that's been around, virtually unchanged, for 96 years (and yes, I looked it up).Not sure what they expect me to say other than "yes, what was in the box was exactly what I expected, Scotch tape." OK, sure, it wasn't that cruddy, yellowish, glossy, generic cellophane tape you find at the grocery store checkout aisle, but nobody expects Scotch tape to be like that. It's SCOTCH tape for crying out loud!If you want to save money on cruddy tape, go ahead and buy that junk at the supermarket checkout aisle, but if you want good tape get genuine Scotch.
Been using Scotch brand tape for decades. I won't use any other regardless of how expensive Scotch is compared to the generic brands. You truly get what you pay for. I tried the generic brands before and they are a pain in the you know what. They start peeling and don't cut nicely and before you know it, you have a roll of unusable tape. Never had that problem with Scotch tape. It's 100% hassle free throughout the entire life of the roll.
