Helmet fits perfect. Extremely comfortable, extremely light and extremely airy. Has the mips2 not the yellow plate mips which probably makes it cooler. I bought the 2021 model in white. Best helmet I ever owned.

The color of this helmet is metallic gloss purple not matt burgundy as shown in photo. Looks much better in person than in photo. I purchased this from Start for a great price. However, the helmet was conspicuously labeled and packaged as “SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE” which likely explains the price.

This has the new gen MIPS which is arguably more comfortable. Good design. Great airflow. I may prefer the POC Ventral for comfort but that is more money. Overall an excellent helmet.

I have both this and a Smith Trace. Initially bought this Scott Centric for gravel and some mtb races. However, the Centric has become my go to helmet for just about every road ride. Without looking at the specs, they weigh what seems like the same, but the Scott just feels better on my head, and has better ventilation on warm/hot days. No issue with the new MIPS. I still grab the Smith on occasion when I don't want to hurt it's feelings.The Trace has a little lower profile, but I do like the look of the Scott.I like the idea of the reflective rear on the silver color as I do regular night rides through cooler seasons.Con - this is my third Scott helmet, and they still need to lengthen the chin strap. This helmet is very lightweight, and the size large fits me very well (size 61cm head). I don’t look like a mushroom.It has the newest MIPS system so doesn’t have the plastic shell inside, which is great.The only thing I wish it had better was a sunglasses retaining function. You can put your sunglasses in there, but there’s no rubber grip to help it stay in place. Overall very happy with this.
Great helmet overall, very low profile. Size up one size though!
I am cycling in the heat hills and humidity of GA. This helmet is super lightweight and airy. I love it. Have it in two colors.
I imagine this helmet might be more comfortable for people with hair. If it fits your head shape I whole heartedly recommend it based on looks alone. For me, there was a spot just above where a hairline would be (if I had hair) where there was direct contact between the hard foam of the helmet and my head. It was enough of a pressure point that I had to return the helmet. It’s sad because it really looks good. Hard to subtract points when at least half of the issue is the shape of my head.
Love the helmet very comfortable and the colour's great.Would like to have seen a magnetic buckle
The title says it all, I found this helmet to be very confortable on the two rides I used it. I'm new to road cycling so time will tell if it stays confortable on longer rides but no complains so far. The straps stays flat on your checks and even though my ears are on the bigger side the straps weren't bugging me at all.
