I use this product regularly for my Sir Walter Buffalo Lawn. As the lawn is now over 10 years old it has built up some thatch so I cut it quite low early September then apply Scotts Lawn Builder and wait for the sun and rain and usually by late October it again look's sensational. Great product.

I have used the Scotts Lawn Builder many times before and have found that not only is the lawn greener but it grows thicker.I generally wait for rainy weather , mix it in with lawn top soil and rake it over the lawn. Highly recommend it .

Excellent product for buffalo grass. I have been using this product for years, twice a year. Easy to spread by hand. No need to water in.
It works and as with any synthetic fertilizer, needs thorough and even watering after. I had a few burnt patches but that was entirely my fault.The only concern was that the packet was seemingly inadvertently blade-slit about 2 inches before it was placed in the cardboard box and a few hundred grams of prills had already fallen out into the box by the time it was delivered.I transferred the packet into a polyethylene outer bag and used it thereafter.
Since laying my Sir Walter Buffalo Grass in 2013 we have only ever used Scotts Lawn Builder specially formulated for Buffalo Grass and it has never let us down. With 3 applications each year we always have the healthiest green lawn in the street.
My front lawn was looking dead because it gets the western sun and next to no water. Even when it rains, it doesn’t green up as much as it used to when it was first laid down.I used this once and it is now the greenest lawn in the street. It still is getting weeds through it but hoping that it will get stronger and prevent this soon.My backyard is usually quite green but it helped the small patches that were brown.

This is by far the best product I have used to keep our lawn looking healthy and green all year round. It is recommended to fertilise your lawn in Spring to ensure you take advantage of when the weather warms up and the grass begins to grow again. Scotts Lawn Builder never fails and is worth paying a little bit more.
Works really well on our 1yo sir walter lawn. I apply it with the Scotts brand pull along spreader. There are instructions for the correct release gauge setting for this spreader on the bag, so you're applying the right amount, not burning your lawn.15kg is good value but need to seal leftovers in bag and store in a very dry area or it will clump into a rock!
