My indoor plants are very happy. was previously using a homemade mix of moss, vermiculite and perlite and was worried about making the change, but the coir seems to be just fine and makes it so that i have to water less frequently. A little more expensive than regular potting mixes but well worth it if you want your houseplants to thrive. Just wish it came in a larger size than the 10L!

Bought this after finding gnats using another potting mix, but after moving all my plants over to this mix they did not thrive and now all dying. I used this for bok Choy seeds and they also didn’t sprout. The texture of this soil is very different from ones formulated with bark but at least my plants grew with the other one. There are no more gnats though as promised.

I bought this soil a couple of months ago and am really not a fan. It retains too much moisture and clumps together into one solid mass, even after I added extra perlite into the mix before potting. The constant moisture also attracts fungus gnats, which I have not had issues with prior to using this soil. Maybe this would be better for people who prefer to go longer in between watering, but as someone who likes to let soil dry out in between watering, I cannot recommend this product. Can't wait to repot into a looser, more airy potting mix.

I bought this soil about 3 weeks ago and repotted my monstera following the instructions. The very next day there was white fluffy fungus all over the top of the soil in the pot, and starting to grow at the drain holes too 😞 the leaves are starting to die off. I checked the soil bag and sure enough the entire bag was full of this white fluffy fungus. The soil in the pot had stayed wet for day too long, over 2 weeks.So disappointed, don't buy into the magical description on the bag like I did! It's misleading.
I have about 100 potted plants in my tiny apartment… so gnats can tend to be an issue. Since switching to this mix I’ve seen less gnats. I also mix about 3:1 with extra perlite.It holds water well which is great for small pots. In larger pots, you might want to mix in mix even 1/2 perlite to prevent it staying too wet for too long.Top tip, I also add mosquito bits in the mix- they kill gnat larvae. (Haven’t had to use a sticky trap inside all year) ;)
Tried another potting mix previously and it had rather lack lustre results. The plant took forever to pick up again, having drooping leaves for about 2+ weeks after the soil change and had very slow growth. This though, absolutely incredible. My Poinsettia was overdue for soil change when I did it and very weak (yellow leaves, dead spots but no wilting), literally within 3-5 days the leaves were a beautiful deep green and after 2 weeks they had grown more than I'd ever seen before and all looking supremely healthy.Absolutely awesome stuff, couldn't believe how well my poinsettia responded to this, after repotting it didn't even wilt slightly. 100% recommend using this, give it a go!
At first I was so happy to be rid of the fungus gnats but that feeling was replaced but total disappointment because my plants that I have had for years starting to die from root rot. I had some beautiful plants that are all turning yellow and loosing leaves with all of the roots brown and mushy so disappointed hundreds of hours and dollars worth of plants wasted.
I purchased this over two months ago, in an attempt to avoid fungus gnat infestations. When I first opened it, I noticed it was quite clunky and somewhat overly moist. Regardless, being a trusted brand, I continued to use it for my indoor plants. In fact I purchased two bag on separate occasions as I did not have enough from the relatively small bag it comes with.I do not overwater my plants as I am conscious of fungus and the related pests involved. I then noticed over time, white and green fungus build up over time. I think the soil mix (despite what it markets on the packaging) hold water too much which then causes the plant roots to almost suffocate and build up mold. I would could not recommend this product to anyone. STAY AWAY!
I purchased this to re-pot my indoor plants and prior to this all my indoor plants were very healthy. however, after re-potting with this soil my plants have been infected with a white fluffy fungus that systemically kills the plants, This potting mix has killed hundreds of dollars worth of my plants and has now introduced a dangerous fungus into my house and greenhouse that has proved to be extremely difficult to get on top of. Im really angry and regret ever buying this product not only has the cost been high because of the expensive plants it killed but the measures that needed to be taken in order to try and fix the problems it caused.
I purchased this to use for my various indoor plants (Peace lily's, Syngonium's, Alocacia's, Caladium's, Pepperomia's etc.) It is absolutely horrible.This potting mix holds too much water. I have had 2 plants die from 'overwatering' and several more drop many leaves due to the potting mix retaining too much moisture. Several plants had mould on the top layer of the pot due to too much moisture.I then mixed 1/3 of this mix with 2/3 of Premium potting mix, and even then it retained too much water. I will now repot all my plants to just premium potting mix.So disappointed as the marketing on the bag said all the right things to entice me to buy. Unfortunately, it did not deliver
