I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I'm always interested in trying new cleaning products, so when I had the chance to try the Scrub Daddy, I couldn't turn down the opportunity to see if it was worth the premium price. One word, YES!! I've tried it on a couple of different surfaces, some stainless steel pans that I used to make a veg curry & also the hob surface which had some burnt on food. Both were clean within minutes & the Scrub Daddy was easy to handle & use both sides. Would definitely recommend!!

The face shape, as well as being fun, is useful for holding the sponge and cleaning cutlery and utensils, and it also cleans pots and pans without scratching. It is on the expensive side for a sponge, however it would certainly last. Overall we loved the quirkiness of the product and actually bought both the Scrub Daddy and Scrub Mommy as stocking fillers!

I really liked this sponge scrub when I was given it to review. I've been using it for a week and it is still as good as new. I find it is good at removing tea stains in cups food dried onto plates. While it cleans up most pans, I've found I still need to use wire wool pads for the really tough burned on deposits. The sponge would be easier to use if it didn't have the 'face' holes which make it too squishy to really scrub hard. Although great to use, I'll probably stick to the Non Scratch Washups which are much cheaper for a pack of three.

I was sent this by Ocado to review. I've seen these in the past and always ignored them as I found the face a bit off-putting. It turns out the eye holes are finger holes, designed to help hold the scrubber, and the mouth is for cleaning spoons and utensils more easily. They kinda work, though I usually find myself not bothering with the holes. However, the texture and material work really well (and are fine for non-stick surfaces). I've been using it for a few weeks and it's showing no signs of wear so I think it will last a long time. It's more expensive than most scrubbers but I'd probably buy it again since it works so well and lasts so long.
Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I like it! But then I also like silly shaped spoons and other kitchen utensils (my granddaughter does too!) PRO: It works well It stays looking fresh and cleans everything very well - with no scratches. Its cheerful - though grey! Im actually going to buy the holder - to keep it out of the way/on display CON: Its a very silly name. Im aware normal sponges dont last long and are unecological - I know this will last longer, but Id like to know more about its makeup. Also I dont have a microwave or a dishwasher - I might just put it in the washing machine and try that?
This product is amazing! It works very well and versatile. This is a great company. They have amazing products and quality control. All of the products are amazing and make cleaning easier. I love that after use, you can squeeze it out and air dry with no funky smells like you get from sponges.
I discovered Scrub Daddy sponges a couple of years ago, so when I saw C&B had an exclusive C&B color I had to get it. My husband makes fun of me for how OBSESSED I am with these sponges. They NEVER smell like mildew and last me about 3-4 weeks. They are very durable and suds up very well with dawn dish soap. They almost make doing dishes... fun.
Something is changed. The sponge is much more dense now, to the point that is uncomfortable squeezing it even in hot water. We've been using this grey version at home for years and this time they look and feel different, everyone noticed right away. Please go back to the original.
My husband and I have been using Scrub Daddy sponges for years. When I found out they have a grey version at Crate&Barrel, I just knew we needed to buy some. The colour fits so well with our aesthetic. So nice to have such a wonderful product, and now in a colour that just fits our home. These are the only Scrub Daddy sponges we will buy!
I'm not too proud to admit that I only bought this because of its silly face, but that's really where its utility ends. The sponge is very hard making it difficult to get into corners or to clean small objects. Also very rough so I was concerned it would scratch delicate objects. I hate to waste things, but just ended up throwing this in the bin and going back to my much cheaper sponges.
